I love unique jewelry and I have found a really neat Etsy shop that has some gorgeous pieces. The shop I am talking about is GamiWorks. The GamiWorks Boutique features a contemporary collection of Japanese chiyogami inspired gifts and accessories. The items are stunning. I was so impressed with the beauty and quality of the piece I received – the Blooming Bamboo Dog Tag. GamiWorks pieces are unique – using simple and feminine lines to highlight the endless array of colors and graphic patterns of these brilliant age-old papers. It arrived in the cutest little tin too – perfect for gift giving!

Here is a description of the piece I received from the GamiWorks site:

Japanese chiyogami (old-paper) features brilliant teal blooms on the bamboo stalk against a slate blue background. The thick 1/4″, hand cut glass gives off amazing depth and reflection to the age old paper.

This necklace comes beautifully packaged in a coordinating gift tin. Makes for a fabulously quick and easy gift. Just add a card and you’re done!

Pendant measures 7/8″ wide x 1 3/4″ long (closer to 2″ when you account for the silver bail) and never weighs heavy around your neck. It’s sealed to protect against water, oils and stains, but may not be water-proof.
