Summer Bash Day 6: KINeSYS Kids SPF 30 Suncreen Spray and Kids SPF 15 Hydrating Moisturizer!

Today I would like to introduce you to KINeSYS!
I had heard of KINeSYS on other blogs, and was curious myself what they were all about. Fortunately I have found out – not only am I reviewing the KIDS SPF 30 Alcohol free Sunscreen Spray and the SPF 30 Girl Sunscreen Spray, but KINeSYS is letting me host a giveaway of two of their products also (but more about that later!).

I received the above products, and am very, very pleased with them. Unfortunately I have not been able to test them in the sun, as our weather here has not been cooperating, but I can tell you that my daughter and I tried each of them. We both tried these two products by applying them to our arms and my first thought with each was that it felt greasy. UH OH. However, it literally blended into our skin right away with no greasy residue whatsoever. Our skin felt soft and you wouldn’t even know we were wearing sunscreen. We were impressed!

KINeSYS SPF 30 Girl Sunscreen Spray
Our thoughts:
What we both really, really loved is that the scent is not the sweet, fruity, berry scent that so many kids sunscreens contain. Blech. I am sorry – but the overly sweet scent of some kids products really is too much. The SPF 30 Girl Sunscreen Spray had a very light green tea scent (it actually is a Vanilla-Green Tea Scent). We both thought it was very nice and subtle. I love the packaging – I think little girls would find this to be very appealing. It’s a cute pink bottle that is “girly” – just for them!
KINeSYS KIDS SPF 30 Alcohol free Sunscreen Spray
Our thoughts:
I love the convenience of a spray – to me, there is nothing worse than having hands covered in sunscreen lotion, particularly at the beach. This product uses a microspray application which allows fast drying without rubbing. It is fragrance free, and the bottle is “fun” and colorful, which should appeal to kids.
I am impressed by KINeSYS philosophy – they believe that a healthy lifestyle includes an awareness of the environment and respect for environmental issues. They promise to continue using the highest quality recyclable materials for their packaging and non-aerosol pumps for their sprayers. KINeSYS products are never animal tested.
Both of these products get a big thumbs up from Eighty MPH Mom. I cannot wait for the sun to come out to use these for our skin protection. But judging by the rest of our thoughts, I think they will work perfectly! I am surprised how reasonably priced their products are too. Not only does KINeSYS have everything you need for kids, but they have a large variety of sunscreen products for the whole family!
