Have I ever mentioned how much I love my friends? Since I started blogging, I have met some amazing people…people I honestly and truly love. I am proud to call each and every one of them “friend”.
They sent me this gorgeous Red Velvet Cake from Carousel Cakes. This is Oprah’s favorite cake and I can see why! I have only had Red Velvet Cake once before, and it is now my all-time favorite. This cake was absolutely fantastic. I squealed with delight when it arrived. Aren’t my friends the best? Thank you!!
In other news: My surgery went well! It is done and I am so excited. It hurts a bit, but hopefully it is healing well. I say hopefully, because stupid me kicked my “bad” hand this morning. I know, I know…how does one kick their own hand? It’s a long story…but trust me, it hurt! Only I can do such ridiculous things. I am also the person who cut the back of her knee with a paper cutter, got Super Glue in her eye and sliced through her thigh (and brand new shorts) with a razor knife. My husband says “to know me is to love me”. Yeah, that is one way of putting it!
