I Would Love to Make These Signs!

This may sound silly, but often in this warped little mind of mine, I think to myself how I would like to make a sign for “this or that”.  The daily frustrations and annoyances get the better of me (most days unfortunately), and I sometimes think to myself, “Gee if everyone just did things my way, the world would run much more smoothly”. If I ran the world, there would be world peace of course, no sickness and food for all, but also there would be no lines anywhere, no solicitors, no cars in front of me stopping every 2 feet to see if it is where they want to turn (instead of pulling over), etc.  Actually these things would require people to have brains. Hmmm – I will work on that.  But in the meantime, here are some signs I would love to have:

On my front gate I have a “No Solicitors” sign.  What I would really like it to say is:

I think right under it, I would post this sign, for those people who were invited and are inevitably early:

I would like the above sign, because I get so frustrated with this. I am a planner – I like to know exactly how much time I have before someone is to arrive.  More than likely I am cleaning and making myself and my house presentable for them right before their arrival.  If they arrive early, they are bound to see me running around like a mad woman, sweaty and all.  Who wants to see that? ARGH!

For my dear kitties – I love them with all my heart – I do.  But no matter how I set up their litter boxes, they often seem to miss completely. (one cat in particular). Posted right above the litter boxes (I guess I need to teach them to read first) would be a sign that reads:

Of course we have to have a sign for crosswalk dawdlers – posted on my front bumper:

I’m not a total meanie – this wouldn’t apply to the elderly or handicapped of course.  Just those young folks who are purposely going slowly, or those too busy fooling around with their phones to notice that cars are waiting…and waiting…and waiting for them.

That’s it for now!  Whew – I feel much better – thanks for listening!

Are there any signs you would like to make?

I love these! Hmm… maybe a sign I would make would be for people who drive VERY SLOWLY when you are waiting to make a turn. It could say something sassy like "Last one to the light is a rotten egg!"

    Hi Jenn,
I love my cat also but he always does his litter box stuff right before people come over to visit me. It is like he knows when people will be visiting. However, he never misses his box. I have a big cardboard box under the litter box to catch any flying litter. I have to protect my hardwood floor after all.

Take care my friend have a wonderful day!!
