Leap into Spring: Hoover FloorMate Spin Brush Review and Giveaway

For my final giveaway for Leap into Spring, I am pleased to feature Hoover!

As you may or may not know, we recently had laminate wood flooring installed in the entire downstairs of our house, as well as on the stairs and upstairs hallway. The bedrooms still have carpeting. I was so excited to get my floors, as I thought they would be easier to keep clean. They are in some ways (stains for instance), but in other ways they are harder to keep clean. We have three indoor cats and, two of whom are long haired. They shed like crazy, and with the wood floors, the fur is really visible (along with cat litter they track all over the place!).

Before I received the Hoover FloorMate, it took me forever to sweep the whole downstairs, and it hurt my back to bend down and sweep all of the fur, dust, etc. into the dust pan. With the Hoover FloorMate, life is so much easier, and my wood floor care is so much faster and more thorough. It’s a breeze! Assembly was very simple. Everything snapped together effortlessly and I was ready to go.

First I vacuumed the whole downstairs – and really quickly. It picked up the fur, cat litter and other “things” that somehow end up on the floor, with ease. Next I emptied the canister, filled the other container with the cleaning solution and used the Hoover Floor Mate to scrub my floors. Super easy! Again, I was so glad that I didn’t have to do much bending to accomplish this. The clean and dirty water were kept separate, and my floors sparkled. The drying feature is really neat too. I hate waiting for floors to dry, and I really dread having to keep the family and cats off of wet floors (not to mention not being able to go in my kitchen for an hour or more due to wet floors!). If you have a lack of storage problem in your house, there is no need to worry. The handle folds down which allows it to easily tuck away in a closet or in the corner of a room.
