Ultimate Blog Party with 5 Minutes for Mom – let’s get it started!

Welcome to Eighty MPH Mom! Thank you for stopping by and saying hello. If you haven’t been here before, I hope you will take a look around. Do you like prizes? If you haven’t heard of Monday Mingle before, I hope you will also check them out. ”Monday Mingle” is a meme which I host. It is a vlogging (video blogging) theme, where participants answer three questions via video and post it on their blog, then link up on my site. If you have always wanted to try vlogging but are a bit camera shy, this is a great way to start! It is a blast to put a face with the bloggers – and to watch them “in action” is really fun. I should be able to recognize quite a few people when I go to BlogHer, just by their Monday Mingles! We would love to have you join in too!

I have been blogging for about 1 1/2 years now and I have loved every minute of it.

Let’s get this party started!! I am participating int he Ultimate Blog Party with 5 Minutes for Mom this year, and I am so excited. Many of you may know me, but I am hoping to meet some new bloggers too. Sometimes I run across a blog and wonder why I haven’t been there before. This is a great opportunity for all of us to meet new people and just…well…have fun!

I am a SAHM of two children: My son is 20 years old and my daughter is 13 years old. They bring so much joy into my lives and I know how truly blessed I am to have two wonderful kids. My husband is in law enforcement, so we are familiar with the crazy schedules that they keep. We have been married for 15 years and together for 19. He is a wonderful and loving man. I have four furry babies as well. I am a ~~crazy old cat lady~~ cat lover – just ask my husband, bless his heart. I have a soft spot for all things animal, and I will pretty much talk to any furry creature than wanders through my yard!

But back to the party! Did I mention all of the prizes that are being given away during the Ultimate Blog Party? I have been looking over the list and have found quite a few things I would love to win. But since I need to narrow it down a bit, I think I would choose these as my top three:

Hi, I'm visiting from UBP. I have a "fur baby" too! He thinks he's one of the kids ~ when we have family meetings, he comes into the living room and sits with the kids. It's too funny.

LOL I have 3 cats and 2 dogs and my husband can't stand any of them. He thinks I'm going to be like my mom who's constantly taking in cats and feeding the strays outside. I love cats but I don't love them that much.
