I am so excited to show you recent results from a very interesting survey from iVillage. I’m sure many of us wonder where we fit in compared to other couples, or just wondering if “it” is happening often enough for us!
In preparation to re-launch its Pregnancy and Parenting site on May 20th, iVillage has spiced things up with a Married Sex survey. The survey is focused on answering the age old asked question – does marriage and the presence of children affect a couple’s sex life?
Here are the Key Findings of this survey:
63% of married women said they would prefer to catch up on an extra hour of sleep, watch a movie or read a book than have sex with their spouse
44% of women said the quality of their sex life has not changed since having kids
23% of women have sex 1 to 3 times a month
14% of women have participated in sexting, while 17% have sent flirty email messages
31% of women reported that they had a better sex life before marriage
