I have long straight hair that often needs help. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I was when I was contacted to review the Conair Infiniti YouCurl. When I got my hair cut recently, I had my stylist add in quite a few layers, in hopes of achieving more fullness. Though my hair does look better, and fluffy right after drying it, it quickly goes flat. I have used curling irons in the past, but many times the curls are too “stiff”. They look like I just used a curling iron, when all I really want is a full, fluffy look.
The Infiniti by Conair You Curl is unlike any other curling iron I have ever used before. It does not have a clamp to hold your hair down, and the shape is actually wider at one end than the other. Neat!
The You Curl has a unique, clamp-free design and a cone-shaped barrel that creates a softer, less structured curl. Simply wrap hair around the barrel, hold for a few seconds and then release. The conical design allows the curls to start closer to the root, allowing more volume through the middle (large portion of the barrel) and the bottom will have a tighter curl (small section of the barrel). The effect is trendy, free-flowing spirals with no “clamp kinks.”
The powerful ceramic heater features Tourmaline Ceramic™ technology which provides more protection, reduces frizz, helps eliminate static and does not have damaging hot spots. The ultra-high heat levels are instantly restored during use, and the 5 LED settings provide the ideal temperatures for all hair types. The stay-cool safety tip protects fingers during use.

I have to admit that at first I had a little trouble with it, but I quickly discovered how to use it effectively. It takes a little getting used to since it doesn’t have a clamp, like other curling irons. But then again, then is no ordinary curling iron. I watched the Conair Instructional Video, which helped me quite a bit. Here are my results {the left side is the side I used the Conair on}.
Of course, I could choose “curlier” curls if I wanted – there really are so many options. I received so many compliments after I beautified myself with the Conair You Curl. What I liked best is how natural it felt – as if I had been born with the gorgeous curls and waves that adorned my head.
Here are the features of the Conair You Curl:
Instant style with no clamp – simply wrap
Fast and easy, with no kinks

My hair is long, and you can see the results above, but I can only imagine how well this would work on short and shoulder length hair!
