Step into Summer: All Terrain Review and Giveaway (winner’s choice)

{CLOSED}

Welcome to our Step into Summer event! Melissa and I have some wonderful things lined up for you to help you get ready for summer. Make sure you visit Melissa at Outnumbered 3 to 1 daily to see what she has in store for you too. Many days we will be reviewing and giving away the same item on both blogs – that is two chances for you to win!

Today’s featured company:  All Terrain!

Taking care of my skin in the Summer {and year round} is very important to me. Part of the reason is I don’t want to get wrinkles, and the other part is I am concerned about skin cancer. The latter worry is something that weighs heavy on me for all of my family members.  All Terrain is a neat company I recently discovered – they carry various types of skin protection items, lotions, and even sprays. All Terrain’s products are environmentally friendly, and they never test on animals – that is very important to me!

all terrain review

All Terrain’s products use only natural ingredients, but are formulated for hard-core use. They are field-tested to ensure satisfaction for All Terrain’s passionate, high-performance customer. Now you can enjoy that expedition, family camping trip, day hike, kayaking, gardening or day at the beach without having to use harsh chemical products to protect you from the sun, insects and whatever nature throws at you.

All Terrain TerraSport Lotion review Sounds good right? I like the philosophy at All Terrain. I also love the products I received for review! Since we spend quite a bit of time in the sun during the summer, I chose the TerraSport performance sunscreen {$10.49}. It is a natural, non-greasy lotion which is water and sweat resistant and is SPF 15. It offers both UVA and UVB protection. From the All Terrain website: You should apply sunscreen before going out into the sun for prolonged periods of time, but not just any sunscreen. Our all natural sunscreen protects you from the sun without the use of harmful products. My thoughts? I love it! They are right when they say it is non-greasy. There is nothing I hate worse than sunscreen that feels greasy and slippery. The lotion blends into my skin so nicely, with no residue whatsoever. Another nice thing is there is no strong scent – that is a huge plus for me.  TerraSport will not clog pores, and it allows the skin to ‘breathe’ naturally. The All Terrain SPF 15 lotion is designed for dry land sports, providing moderate protection against sunburn under the most extreme conditions. Of course if you are going to be in the sun all day, a higher SPF might be necessary.

Sweat/Water resistant Sunscreen w/SPF15 uses Z-Cote® which offers the broadest UVA/UVB spectrum protection available. No Slip/Dry Grip, No Eye Sting.

all terrain weather shield review and giveaway The other product I reviewed from All Terrain is the WeatherShield Skin Protectant/Sunscreen {3 oz is $12.99}.  I consider this to be an all-purpose weather lotion.  Not only is it effective for sun protection, but for cold weather and wind too.  I cannot stand windburn – that can be quite painful.  This is one product I am going to keep in my car at all times – it will be nice to know it is there for any type of weather we might encounter. From the All Terrain website: WeatherShield Skin Protectant/Sunscreen (3oz) protects from the drying effect of sun, wind and cold weather, can be used in any season, contains SPF for UVA/UVB protection, contains essential oils and botanical extracts, and is effective for any kind of outdoor activity that exposes skin to harsh conditions. It is also water and sweat resistant. I found this to be non-greasy, just as the TerraSport was. It has a very nice, light scent. I like the fact that it stays on for a long time without having to reapply. This will be perfect if we are having fun and are involved in a sport and activity and do not want to stop.

In addition to the products mentioned above, All Terrain has many, many more items. They carry first aid supplies, insect repellent, soaps {biodegradable and concentrated}, sanitizers, all-natural pet care products and much more. They even have travel kids and travel sizes!  They have recently expanded their Kid’s Care line too!

Stock up on natural sunscreen! You can order All Terrain products on their website or by phone, or you can use their store locator to see if they are available at a retail outlet near you. You can also enter to win below!
