Welcome to our Step into Summer event! Melissa and I have some wonderful things lined up for you to help you get ready for summer. I am so excited to introduce you to this super fun site I recently discovered. It’s all about tweens and letting their fashion imagination run free, by designing their own clothes! Fashion Playtes is a unique website where young girls can be their very own fashion designer. Customized tween clothing is such a neat concept.  I have never seen an online clothes designing site before, and I think this is just a fabulous idea!

Fashion Playtes is a personal passion. I’d like to offer girls the chance to create something unique and build their confidence and self-esteem in the process. Our business offers tween girls an opportunity to design clothing and have it produced to wear at a reasonable price. At the essence of our business is collaboration between parents and daughters throughout the design process. We hope to garner parents as ambassadors of our brand. We are a tween and parent friendly company working to ensure privacy and security issues are managed correctly. It’s a fun journey seeing this vision translate to reality. We hope you enjoy this as much as we do! We are very much looking forward to seeing the magic of your customization and self-expression.

Most girls want to stand out from the crowd {I think most people do in general}, and Fashion Playtes certainly will make that happen.  But more importantly, it allows girls to be creative.  From skirts to shirts, jackets and more the designs are almost endless at Fashion Playtes.  It is kind of hard to describe how many different outfits can be designed, but if you start playing around on the site {okay, try to let your daughter have a change too, okay?}, I know you will have a blast.  If only there were such a site for ‘older’ ladies *cough* me.   Here are a couple of examples of the very cool outfits that are possible:

Cute right?  I could play around on their site all day!  My daughter is just a little old for this now, but I can only imagine the fun we could have had when she were younger.  Who knows, this might even encourage some tweens to be fashion designers!  If you are looking for truly unique gifts for tweens, this is the place.  They have gift certificates available, which is so convenient.  There are some other fun things going on at Fashion Playtes – I just noticed that you can throw a Fashion Playtes birthday party!
