I have been a fan of mineral makeup since I first tried them several years ago. I have tried quite a few brands and I like some more than others. I recently tried a brand I haven’t tried before – Forget Me Not Minerals, and I am quite smitten! Not only are the products wonderful, but the owner of the company {who is super nice!} handcrafts her mineral makeup!

I handcraft all of my mineral makeup with pure, natural, ingredients with the everyday woman in mind. All my products are free of bismuth oxychloride, fragrance, wax, binding agents and general fillers. My formulation are just that – my own, meaning I blend my own eye shadows, blush, foundation; basically, all the products I carry I have handcrafted and formulated.

"Spice"

I was anxious to try the eyeshadows that were sent to me for review during our gift guide. I was asked to choose four colors {not as easy as it sounds – all of the colors are gorgeous!}. I finally settled on Lotus, Spice, Fate and Buttercup. These are all earth tones, which are my favorites. Spice and Fate are the darker of the colors, Lotus is more of a medium shade and Buttercup is light {great for under the brow}. When they arrived I couldn’t wait to try them. For the next few days I tried several color combinations, and they all looked so pretty! They are lightweight, and the colors stayed on for the whole day.
