JoeShopping.com $100 Amazon Gift Card Giveaway

I just discovered a new site that I am completely and utterly in love with! I have been playing around and exploring on JoeShopping.com, and am having so much fun, while also discovering some great shopping deals!

JoeShopping.com is a combination of comparison shopping (like amazon.com or shopping.com), crossed with the best parts of various social networks (Facebook, Twitter, FourSquare, etc.). Users can post photos of themselves with their newest outfits, add videos of them trying to take an action figure out of its packaging despite all those twisty ties, write a product review of the millions of products in our database, write a blog post about their fondest birthday presents, share their latest shopping adventure, etc. In short, it’s a hefty social network themed around shopping.

It is honestly unlike any shopping comparison site I have been to before… it is so much more than just shopping deals. It is unique in every way. JoeShopping.com doesn’t actually sell anything on the site, but instead they show the the best/cheapest places on the Web to find them and send you to those places. Neat right? It is so much more than that though! I signed up and immediately uploaded my photo and started looking around. In your profile you can also list your blog URL, and even do blog posts! If you are a blogger, this is a great way to get exposure to your blog.

You can post product reviews of the items you find at JoeShopping.com {I always find reviews super helpful}. Next to each item, they also list any coupons/discounts. It is really a one-stop shopping experience – I am loving it! If you find an item you really like, you can share it on Facebook, Twitter, email it to a friend or post it to your JoeShopping.com profile.

Another fun thing on Joeshopping.com – you earn badges based on doing various activities. The badges are fun, cute little achievements to show off on your page.  It is fun to unlock new badges!

I found the site to be really easy to navigate. There is a section for the most recent reviews, a section for coupons and deals, and a great community where there are blogs, featured blogs, photos, videos, forums and more! I just discovered that you can even list your own blog giveaways in the forum. You can also find products by brand name, price range, etc. The more I look around, the more I find to do – I could literally spend hours on JoeShopping.com!

Winner will be drawn randomly. You earn JoePoints just by using the social network side of the site. (Upload a photo, write a blog post, write a shopping status, etc.) You can earn points throughout the entire month. At the end of the month, your total points are converted to entries in the sweeps. So the more active on the site you are, the more points you earn. Which means the more active you are, the better your chance of winning.

The second promo is the $5,000 Refer a Friend giveaway.
This isn’t random. You refer your friends to the site via email or by posting your referral link anywhere you want (blog, Facebook, Twitter, etc.). You earn points based on the people who sign up AND use the site. So instead of just rewarding you for sending 10 people to JoeShopping.com, you’d be rewarded for the total POINTS those 10 people earn. So you may only send a few people to the site, but if they’re really active, you could beat someone who referred a lot of inactive people!
