Childhood Hunger Ends Here Television Special this Saturday!

I wanted to update you with more information on the Childhood Hunger Ends Here campaign with Feeding America and ConAgra Foods. As a blogger correspondent for this campaign, I will be providing additional information throughout.

I recently posted about the hungry children in America, and how you can help. If you missed that post, I hope you will read it. Together we can make a difference!

TELEVISION SPECIAL THIS SATURDAY!

Another way to help:

Watch the television special – On March 19 in select markets (markets include Chicago, Dallas, Hartford, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Omaha, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.), you can watch “Child Hunger Ends Here: A Special Report,” a 30-minute special hosted by Al Roker with Natalie Morales, which will premiere on NBC highlighting the personal stories of families struggling with hunger and showcasing how Americans can work together to tackle this issue. Check local listings for viewing times. During the special, viewers can also participate in an online event that will shed additional light on the child hunger issue.

Follow #ChildHungerEndsHere on Twitter during the broadcast, and you can ask questions from an expert panel, as well as learn about ways to get involved.
