I love your little text animations! I got as far as geometry in math… and was ok at it, but certainly didn’t like the non-geometry math. Though I do wonder how I would have been at it if I gave it a try. I had a feeling you were going to say you excelled in English. :)

Why hello there! ;) At first glance I thought you were in a big comfy plush robe. LOL
That’s too bad about your first car.
I wasn’t too great with math either – at least not the “smarter” math stuff. Basic math and very basic algebra I’m good with. Mostly. LOL
    Hooray for English! *high five*
Honestly I find it interesting that when Mat went to school in TX he said they really pushed sciences and history. Not reading or English or anything like that – whereas in Washington there was a huge emphasis {I felt at least} on English and grammar and reading.

Here’s to the English lovers and the math – not so much lovers. Thanks for hosting again. I love that you put the questions up for the whole year. Fabulous idea.

  4. I disliked math as well! Physics was my worst subject. It made me cry :(

  5. Leila says:

    1. The phrase “It seemed like a good idea at the time”…what has been your worst idea? Goodness do I have to pick just 1

    2. What was your worst subject in school? Math or science

    3. What subject in school did you excel in? I don’t think I could mention that here.

Smile and have a Marvelous Monday!!! Leila

  6. Lynsey Jones says:

YAY!! Another English lover and math not-so-much lover here! LOL

  7. omg, I haven’t thought about those cars in years! I was horrendous at math also, but when my kids were taking algebra in high school, I worked the problems just to see if I could still do them. I couldn’t, so I taught myself from their books and now I love doing algebra! LOL

  8. I was good at math until it came to geometry. I totally bombed it. English was okay until it came to writing papers. To this day I still cannot write a good paper. Funny that I’m bloggings, huh.

  9. Melissa says:

your video wasn’t working for me :( Thanks for hosting, Jen!

  10. Cindy Merrill says:

I love to cook and I always loved history- so I combined the two…I’m a foodhistorian. I think that “hands on” visual teaching is the best method- my students never seem bored.
