Ahhh, I am so excited that it’s almost ice cream season again (well anytime is ice cream time, really). One of my favorite places places to get ice cream is Cold Stone Creamery – I mean who doesn’t love fresh ice cream where you can add in pretty much anything you want, right?

I am happy to tell you that Cold Stone Creamery has a few new yogurt creations! This is music to my ears, as I sometimes don’t want the calories of ice cream, but I am definitely in the mood for a nice cold, tasty treat.

My daughter and I made a little trip to Cold Stone Creamery after school the other day, as we both wanted to try these for ourselves. Being the chocoholic she is, she decided to have the Powered by Chocolate Shake, and she absolutely loved it. I honestly don’t know how she could finish it so quickly – that would totally give me “brain freeze”, but I guess that says a lot about her feelings for this treat. Since I love everything strawberry, I got the Strawberry Crumble yogurt creation. This reminded me a bit of cheesecake, with the yummy graham cracker crust. It’s almost like this creation was made especially for me since it contained vanilla yogurt, strawberries and graham cracker crust – all of these are my favorites.

Strawberry Crumble Yogurt

The Cold Stone Creamery yogurt is so fresh and tasty – and I wouldn’t expect less. It was a good feeling to be able to enjoy this without feeling guilty, as Cold Stone Frozen Yogurt comes in non-fat and low-fat flavors that include probiotics and are low-calorie.
