My hair has forever been a little bit on the frizzy side when I allow it to air dry. Being a mom though I often don’t have the time to blow dry and style. Over my lifetime I have tried so many products I can’t count to keep the frizzies at bay. When I had the opportunity to try the Couture Colour Pequi Oil® Treatment I said yes. I heard that Michelle Williams, Amy Adams, and Gwyneth Paltrow have all used it on the Red Carpet and they have gorgeous hair so I was excited to see my results.
The Pequi nut found in the Amazon rain forest makes all hair types softer, shinier and smoother than ever before! The weightless formula keeps hair nourished between colorings and is also a great multi-tasker product for busy moms to use as a pre-shampoo treatment, before blow-drying, after styling to calm frizziness and flyways, or any time for extra softness and shine.
After my shower I put a few squirts of the Pequi Oil® in my palm and smelled it. It is like summer in a bottle. Yum! It didn’t feel greasy or heavy so I went ahead and applied it through my hair. The result I had was a ton less frizz. My hair was more smooth than wavy and I didn’t have to touch a straightener. The next day was a total surprise for me though because after I put a comb through my hair it didn’t completely frizz out! I was able to put it into a ponytail to run errands and didn’t have to take the time to put water in it to make it not appear so big. Over the course of the 2 weeks I have been using the Pequi Oil® my hair seems to be in much better condition. I love the shine that is has but it doesn’t appear greasy at all. At first the cost sounded like a lot ($32.00 msrp) but you use such a small amount each time that it will last me for many months.
Find all sorts of tips on Couture Colour’s Facebook page and also give them a follow on Twitter while your at it for up to the minute tweets about their products. I love their Pinterest Boards for styling inspiration. Definitely check that out!
