Comet sure has come a long way since I was little! I remember my mom grabbing the green Comet can whenever she needed to tackle an especially stubborn spot in the sink. It was one of her favorite products, and one that I also used throughout the years. I actually haven’t used it in a couple of years, so imagine my surprise when I received a Comet Spring Cleaning Kit and it contained not only blue containers, but there was more than just the powder!
Comet now has a Cream Cleaner and Polish, a Spray Cleaner and the original powder formula. It is nice to have several choices for different surfaces and appliances.

Also included in my Spring Cleaning Kit was a pretty kitchen towel, rubber gloves and an American Express gift card – everything I need for a big day of cleaning! A couple of times a year, I do the deep-down cleaning all over the house. Of course I clean on a regular basis, but my “big” cleaning days consist of me scrubbing floor boards, getting the ladder out and cleaning way up high, and scrubbing areas that hidden. It feels SO good knowing that my house is clean from floor to ceiling, and Comet was a big part of my “big” cleaning day this year.
Our sinks are stainless steel, so I thought I would try the cream cleanser for this. It is so effective on removing spots and hardened food that won’t come up with other cleaners. Of course, this has always been my experience with Comet, and exactly why I will be using it again, for years to come. I had forgotten just how much I love it.
My husband used the Stainless Steel Spray on his BBQ grill. Now, believe me when I say that he is VERY particular about what he uses on his baby. His grill is one I gave him for Father’s Day a couple of years ago, and it is the cadillac of BBQ grills. He was very, very pleased with the results, and to have the grill look as shiny as the day he bought it made him super happy. He was especially thrilled that the Comet spray didn’t scratch the grill.
Although we do not currently have stainless appliances, we plan on replacing our older appliances with stainless in the near future. You can bet that I will be purchasing Comet to use on them!

I do use Comet and like to use it in my bathroom on the toilet, sink and tub, and I also use it in my kitchen sink, I think it cleans very well
