Coppertone Beach Bag, Mat and Sunscreens Giveaway

coppertone

I love summer! The girls and I spend most of our days on the lake. This 4th of July though we spent a nice long weekend in Daytona Beach Florida. Each morning we would head to the beach and then around lunch when it started getting really crowded we would go back to the hotel’s pool. Out of the 3 of my girls I have 2 that are quite fair and I trust Coppertone to protect them from burning. Trial and error isn’t worth it when you are talking about your child’s delicate skin.

First thing in the morning I put Coppertone’s Pure & Simple sunscreen on us all. It has an SPF 50 and spreads easily and rubs in nicely. Over the course of the day I reapply and went with Coppertone’s newest suncreen wet’n clear kids. It is water resistant for up to 80 minutes and has a SPF 45+. The wet’n clear kids has a light scent and sprays nicely on the kiddos. I have not been thrilled with other spray sunscreens in the past. One in particular left us with a pink child but Coppertone has done it right with the wet’n clear kids.  The spray is very nice when you are at the beach because you aren’t rubbing sand all over your child’s body while trying to rub in the lotion.  Over the course of the 5 day weekend spending probably 7 hours each day either in the pool or on the beach we don’t have 1 pink child and very mild tan lines.

If you were a child of the 80′s like myself you might remember iodine & baby oil. What were we thinking? These days my daily facial moisturizer has a SPF 30 in it! I protect my own skin nowadays the same way I do my girls. For myself I used the Coppertone Sport Pro Series with a SPF 50. It is also water resistant up to 80 minutes and stays on strong in extreme sweat conditions. The spray is very easy to use and the scent isn’t overpowering. There were many kids and adults on the beach that were pink and some even really red but not our family! I couldn’t be happier with Coppertone products and was loyal to them even before I did the review.
