Quaker has been been around since before I was born, but it is a product we always had in our house, and that I grew up on. Back then though, Oatmeal was all that they made. I have fond memories of making chocolate chip oatmeal cookies with my mom when I was a little girl. They are the only kind of oats she would use (she always used the best quality ingredients).
Boy how times have changed! Quaker has SO many products these days, and that is a good thing. It is a name I know and trust and I was delighted to learn of their latest goodies to hit the shelves. Oh, and I got to try them too!
Quaker Oatmeal Squares cereal is so good. My family and I have been enjoying them, as in addition to being good for you, they actually taste good. Many times cereal (and other food items) that are good for your health are not that great in taste. Plus the little hearts are awfully cute
Quaker Instant Chocolate Chip Oatmeal is a wholesome, whole-grain oatmeal that reminds me of chocolate chip cookies! I love this new twist on an old classic. I don’t need to add any sugar to my oatmeal when I eat this, as it has just the right amount of sweetness!
Quaker Soft Baked Cookies and Crunchy Oat Granola Cookies contain all kinds of goodies, including fruit and crunchy nuts. I love my cookies soft, and it’s nice to not have to feel guilty about eating a cookie. They are individually wrapped, which make them super easy for an on-the-go snack, or packing in lunch boxes.
Quaker Yogurt Granola Bars contain 12 grams of whole grains in the top layer, and calcium in the yogurt bottom. I tried the strawberry flavor, and was delighted that they were so good. These are a great source of calcium and again, they would be perfect to send to school with your child as a mid-day snack, or as a treat in a lunch box.
Quaker Soft Baked Bars have wholesome ingredients to help provide fuel for the whole day. I absolutely adore banana bread, and these soft baked bars tasted very similar to the treat I love so much (and these contain only 140 calories!). They also have 5% fiber per serving and 6% protein! I think we all know how important fiber is in our diet, so it’s fun to get my fiber this way (instead of other methods that are not so pleasant).
Quaker Stila Crispy Oat Cookie Bars and Bits contain only 100 calories per serving. They are really different from anything I have tried before. They are crispy on the outside and they have a chewy fruit center. These are also individually wrapped, and I have been keeping a couple in my purse for those unexpected hunger pangs. These are a perfect for healthy snacking!
I enjoyed all of these goodies so much! I love that I can grab a quick snack with the above Quaker options, and I don’t have to feel guilty, or sacrifice flavor by eating something that is healthy.
Make sure you enter to win below! With school about to start, these goodies will be so handy to have in your cabinet, to send with the kids to school!
