Back to school shopping? Do you love it or dread it? I remember the days that I was able to go out shopping and pick out all the pretty dresses I wanted for my girls. Now they have opinions. Seriously, when did this happen? Even kids in elementary school know name brands and having to dress 3 little girls can get pretty expensive. Thankfully there is Ross to save the day. Stylish brand name clothes at a fraction of the original price makes me not dread school shopping at all!
Thanks to the awesome folks over at Ross Dress for Less I was sent a $25 gift card to go and spend as I wished. One day I will treat myself again with an afternoon of shopping solo but right now we need new school clothes so I decided to spend it on my girls. Are you ready to see how far $25 went shopping at Ross? Well of course you are or you wouldn’t still be reading!
Armed with our gift card we hit our Ross on Sunday afternoon. Looking over the clothes in the girls department I saw a ton of really cute jeans and they had already started to bring out their fall jackets. It is still pretty hot here in NC so I wanted to stay with short sleeved yet so that my girls could wear their new clothes in the next few months. Our oldest daughter’s style is skinny jeans and a t-shirt. She is not a dress girl anymore *sniff* but I do still have a frilly daughter who’s motto should be “the fancier the better”. Then there is the baby. Our baby thinks she wants fancy but really wants comfortable because she will strip down if what she has on isn’t comfy. Seriously, she did it at a friend’s house. Thankfully I had a change of clothes in the car because at this stage of the game I know her quirkiness. Ross had something for each one of them!
My oldest loves her t-shirt! It is comfortable but has one of her favorite dolls as the image on the front. Paired with a pair of our skinny jeans and sparkly shoes this is a perfect outfit for any 2nd grader.
Our middle girl got herself a glittery dress with bedazzled leggings. Can you say rockstar? One day maybe, but for now she will be rocking this oh so cute outfit her first week in Kindergarten. It gives her the “fanciness” she adores but also is well made and easy to move it which I appreciate. Worn with some of our twinkling sneaks and she is all set to impress!
My baby. We tried on a few dress/legging combos before she found one that felt right. Made from 100% cotton by a well know label we scored this set for a mere $7.99! It will be perfect to start off preschool this fall and since I bought a size up will get more wear next spring. We added a pair of her favorite blue shoes and her outfit was complete.
In less than an hour we found 3 outfits for just a hair over $25!
Now don’t get me started on Ross’s shoe department. I am pretty addicted to shoes and love shopping for them at Ross because of the awesome prices. Since having girls I have passed that addiction on to them *I am sorry to their future husbands*. Ross is the go to store for school shoes! We saw so many styles of dress and athletic shoes. Flip flops in the summer and some boots in the winter. There is something for each member of your family (even the furry members!) at Ross! Check them out on Facebook and learn about all the fun promotions that they run – there are lots of chances to win gift cards to shop until you drop!
