Jamba Juice new Quaker Whole Grains Boost!

I am a huge Jamba Juice fan, so when they contacted me to try their new Quaker-branded whole grains boost, I was pretty excited.  I usually enjoy trying different boosts every time I visit Jamba Juice, so naturally I was interested in sampling the newest one!

Not only do I love the taste of Jamba Juice beverages and smoothies, but they are just so so refreshing during the super hot days we have been having lately!  I like that when I want a frosty treat, I don’t have to feel guilty when I order Jamba Juice smoothies. Most of their drinks are chalk-full of fresh fruits and/or veggies. I like that, and my body thanks me!

I treated my friend and her daughter to Jamba Juice while we were out doing a little shopping last week. It was an especially hot day (and humid!), so Jamba Juice was definitely in order. It is always hard to decide what to get.  I usually order the  Aloha Pineapple, Pomegranate Paradise or Razzmatazz.  This time however, I decided to delight my tastebuds with something different.

My friend’s daughter told me about the “secret” menu at Jamba Juice, which I hadn’t previously heard of. I decided to try the Pink Starburst from this menu with the Quaker whole grain boost. Oh my gosh – it was SO tasty! What I love about the whole-grain boost (and all of their boosts)  is that they don’t seem to change the flavor of my smoothies.  After all, with flavors as delicious as this, I would not want it changed a bit!

My friend’s daughter had a Pink Starburst too, and my friend decided on the Matcha Green Tea Blast smoothie.  They also had the whole grain add-in and they couldn’t taste it either.

I just had to sample my friend’s Matcha Green Tea Blast smoothie – I had never heard of this one before.  Oh boy, was it tasty! I liked it because it wasn’t overly sweet – it tasted just like green tea.  I think I might try that next time!

I can enjoy the new Quaker-branded boost whole fruit smoothies while also giving my body the whole grains it needs.

Americans continue to fall short of getting the whole grains nutrition experts recommend. The 2010 US Dietary Guidelines recommend that at least half of all grains consumed be whole, yet less than 15 percent of people get the 3-5 minimum daily servings**. In addition to fiber, whole grains provide a number of essential vitamins and nutrients, and eating the recommended amount each day as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol can help reduce the risk of developing heart disease, and may contribute to maintaining a healthy weight.

I have never been to one but my youngest daughter is gaga over them. She has gone with our neighbor friends and loves the Peach Mango Smoothie with the Booster!

  2. For me, the Banana Berry smoothie just brings back those moments of teenage freedom. When your parents dropped you and your girlfriends off at the mall for a few hours to pick out some new outfits and you thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread.

    Good times…

  3. I don’t go to Jamba Juice often to I don’t have a “usual”. I looked at their menu and would love to try the Berry UpBEET™ Smoothie, Thanks

  4. I have never been to Jamba Juice but I would love to try some of their juices like the Orange Apple Pineapple Ginger juice.
