Head Back to School & Back to Work with Shutterfly iPad Cases – Review
How many of you have iPads? I know that I’ve certainly fallen victim to the massive wave of “must have Apple products” syndrome. As I’m sure many of you know, these products are not exactly the most inexpensive items out there. That being said, with two little ones, I have to do my best to protect these devices. Of course, there are hundreds if not thousands of different cases and covers available that’d all adequately do the job but all of them are exactly the same… except for one.
Shutterfly is a great company – a favorite of mine – that is known for creating high quality products with a personalized touch. With a vast array of products to choose from including your everyday photographs all the way up through full blankets featuring your favorite image, their leap into the technology world should not come as a surprise. Recently, Shutterfly launched a new line of products that tie in perfectly with your home office needs.
With products to deck out and supply your entire office, Shutterfly has definitely outdone themselves. The new releases include all of the following:
- Spiral Notebooks are a chic and fun way to jot down your notes and showcase your favorite photos on stylish backgrounds.
- Mouse Pads are a great way to brighten up the computer workspace with a variety of formats that can be personalized with your favorite photos.
- Notepads offer a great way to give your notes a unique and lasting impression.
- Stickers custom-made to your taste are perfect for personalizing school supplies, books, lockers, and binders.
- Calendars (available in 12 and 18-month versions) can begin on any month so they’re customizable and give you the ability to personalize special dates with photos and text for organization made simple.
- Desk Organizers showcase your favorite images on a colorful photo tile background with three additional felt-lined pen holders.
- Personalized Kids Books turn your child’s favorite story into a personalized adventure through customized text and photo options.
- iPad Cases allow you to personalize your iPad folio case with photos, patterns, monograms, and more.
Having just added many new products to their already amazing lineup, I am thrilled to be able to share one of their latest releases with you – the Shutterfly iPad Cases.
I have personally been through numerous iPad cases, all of which were quite plain and none of which held up to normal wear and tear. The Shutterfly iPad Case, on the other hand, breaks that mold. Now, back when we had first gotten our iPad, we swore that it’d be Mommy and Daddy’s “toy,” not the kids. However, that idea went out the window semi-quickly once I found educational apps for the little ones. Ever since being in our kids’ hands, our iPad has been dropped numerous times, touched with sticky fingers, propped up to watch movies on, and then some. Thankfully, the iPad itself has lasted through the beatings our little ones have put it through. Our cases, however, have not. With tears at the seams, plainly ripping apart at the fold, and more nightmares to count, I had just about given up on the whole idea of having a case to begin with. Then I found the Shutterfly iPad Cases.
With twelve different designs to choose from and the ability to personalize with anywhere from one to sixteen photos as well as text and monograms, the possibilities are endless.
We ended up going with the simplicity of the one photograph option. As much as I’d love to feature multiple photos and all of the other available goodies, I loved the idea of having our family grace the cover of our iPad case in one simple photo even more. With that being said, we went with the Shutterfly iPad Case – Photo Gallery.
Thus far, we are absolutely thrilled with it. Not only does it look amazing, but it works wonderfully. Whenever we take it out in public, we always get many comments about how nice it is. What’s even better is the way that it’s made. The Shutterfly iPad Cases are all folio-style cases made to equally protect the front and the back of your iPad. Additionally, the spines of these cases are reinforced for added protection. Having this reinforcement helps to insure that the case itself stays intact and allows you to enjoy it for much time to come. All twelve cases come with a gray micro-suede interior and are available in either a red or black option to cover the spine, back exterior, and face edging.
Our favorite feature is the ability to stand the iPad within the Shutterfly iPad Case and have it securely propped up for easy use and enjoyment. The three different angle settings allow users to choose the setting that works best for them. I’m particularly fond of the lowest setting and have found it to be great for typing, web browsing, and reading. The little ones prefer the highest angle which gives them optimal viewing of movies.
At the end of the day, the Shutterfly iPad Cases are a great choice for anyone. Not only do they offer wonderful protection for your iPad but the fact that these cases allow you to break from the cliché, solid color standard of other cases certainly gives you the upper hand. Celebrate your uniqueness. Use a photo of a loved one that you can enjoy regularly. Feature a favorite scenic photo of a place you hold dear. Make it as a gift or make it for yourself. No matter the intended user or the design choice, the creativity lies in your hands. And, with the impressive reputation behind the Shutterfly line of photo products and gifts, you can rest assured that your photo will look amazing on this case.
The Shutterfly iPad Cases can be purchased through the Shutterfly website for $64.99 each. However, through October 9th, Shutterfly is offering 25% off of all iPad Cases bringing the price (temporarily) down to only $48.74!
