Disclosure review

Say hello to wintery weather! We’re certainly feeling the chill in Nebraska and I know we’re not the only one! Even though it’s winter, I still make it a point to get outside. I’ve made it a habit to walk early in the morning or after dark. Once that sun drops, so does the temperature! I’m not the only one. Johnny has started track training, they run after school every single day – in all kinds of weather. With help from Minus33, we’re keeping warm while outside!

Minus33 is the merino wool company.  With headquarters in Ashland, New Hampshire, they are able to test out their products in some of the most extreme weather in that location.

POM_Beanie_Sky

They sent over the POM Beanie and I love it! With beautiful Merino Wool (52%) and Acrylic (48%) knit on the outside and a fuzzy, warm fleece on the inside, this hat is double layered for extra warmth. Sometimes hats have a habit of slipping up and off of my head, but not this one. I’ve taken to walking in the early mornings and it’s a must that I have a hat.  The POM Beanie also helps keep my earbuds in place.  Bonus!  This hat is just adorable.  The wild orchid color is perfect.  I’m not the only one who loves it, Paige is a HUGE fan too! In fact, it’s a race each morning to see who can snag it first!

She looks adorable, no? The POM Beanie retails for $19.99 and is machine washable. Just make sure you line dry with no heat.

Merino Light Trek Runner Sock

The Merino Light Trek Runner Sock is just right for that cold weather runner. It features a light cushion with a mesh top for venting. Plus there is low no show with Achilles protection. The Merino Light Trek Runner sock is both machine washable and dryable. Made from 80% Merino Wool, 16% nylon and 4% elastane, it’s super soft and comfortable.

Johnny has large feet, I’m always unsure if socks will fit properly, but the XL fit his size 14 feet! These socks retail for $13.49 and come in several colors. Pictured is the autumn red but they are also available in wild orchid and deep water.  I’ve washed these socks so many times, it’s apparent that they are a favorite of Johnny’s.  When pressed, he said he really likes the support they give his feet and whether he is running or working, they feel good on his feet.

Saratoga Men's Lightweight Bottom

The Saratoga Men’s Lightweight Bottom are made from 100% 17.5 Micron Merino Wool. It’s a jersey knit construction and Johnny has taken to layering, wearing them under his sweats or simply wearing them under shorts.  With the flack lock seams, there is no chafing. He was quick to mention they don’t ride up.

Johnny Running Pants

Sizing is generous – from XS through XXXL. Once again, I wasn’t sure if I’d find the right fit for Johnny. He’s tall, but skinny. So I asked! I simply sent in his height and waist measurements and the large is just right for him.  The Saratoga Men’s Lightweight Bottom retails for $59.99

Minus33 has the cold weather clothing and accessories you need this winter!

  1. I’d like to win because I work outside and it’s cold here in the winters! I could use this to help keep me warm!

I would love to win this because it looks absolutely great for jogging in chilly weather. I also like that it is the 1/4 zip so that it stays tight fitting to the chest area to keep in body heat but only unzips part for when you get hot.

  3. I’ve started to live a healthier lifestyle and having clothing that could get me outside in the winter would help.

  4. The primary reason is it would serve a purpose either as a solo winter shirt or replacement for the fitness / therapy. Another purpose I might wrap it up and give it a person within my family that’s less off then I am. The primary reason is so she might be able to work on her last year’s resolution…. to lose some weight and inner act with others.

    Happy Holidays

  5. Oooh, I’d love to win that gorgeous Charcoal Grey 1/4 zip top! Here in Maine, we layer our clothes in the winter, and that top would be perfect for layering, although it’s pretty enough to wear on its own. Love it!

  6. I would love to win the Women’s Sequoia Midweight 1/4 Zip in Charcoal Grey so I could have a coverup on my way to the gym on cold winter mornings.

  7. I don’t have anything but basic hoodies. When I go jogging that’s all I have to wear. This would be great to have.

  8. I live in the northeast and I spend a lot of time outdoors, even in the winter. I have to pile on the layers to keep warm and so far…I really haven’t found anything that does the job sufficiently and I’m tired of wearing bulky 4-5 layers and not being able to move.

  10. I like the overall design of the shirt and would wear it often. The weather gets mighty cold here and this shirt would be helpful when I’m chilly. Thanks.
