Crab Cake Sliders
What can you make with leftover crabmeat?

We love crab feeds, and we love leftover crab! When we went to a crab feed recently, they had so much extra that they let us take a bunch home. I decided to make crab cakes, and they were delicious. But then my husband and I wanted more of a meal out of them, and we had just bought some little rolls at the store. What we came up with were Crab Cake Sliders!

I posted awhile back about how to make crab cakes (I used Paula Deen’s Crab Cake recipe). I used this recipe again, as it is simply the best.

I like to use peanut oil for cooking certain things, and it really tastes good when you cook crab cakes in peanut oil!

While the crab cakes were cooking, we mixed up an aoili of sorts – mayonnaise and crushed garlic, and generously applied on each bun.

We shredded lettuce and added to each bun, then placed a crab cake on top. I cannot describe how delicious these were. We made so many crab cakes, and had the Crab Cake Sliders for lunch the following day.

There are so many good recipes for using crab meat, but this is my favorite without a doubt! What are your favorites?

    I love the innovation! I definitely would definitely would love to try the Crab Meat leftover ideas. I think it is a great plate, of which it’s on my menu later in the week.
