Nowvel Photo Books

My brother just celebrated a big milestone birthday, and I wanted to get him something really special. I actually wanted to spoil him rotten and get several things {which I did}, but the one I was most excited about was a photo book. Since we moved almost 2 years ago, I don’t get to see my brother very much and I miss him. He and his fiancee came up to visit us last September and we had a blast. I decided to put all of those photos and memories into a photo book for his special day. I ordered this through Nowvel Photo Books and I couldn’t be happier!

I have hesitated to order something like this before, as I am afraid the photos might turn out blurry. That was not the case at all. In fact, my photos were crystal clear. I got the 12 x 12 glossy, hardcover book and it turned out SO nice! There is also an option for a soft-cover photo book, if that is your preference.

There are so many choices when you order from Nowvel. You can choose the size of the book you want, how many pages, and how many photos {up to 300!}. If you like glossy you can get your book that way, or you might like matte better. The choice is yours!

Creating my Nowvel Photo Book was pretty easy and straightforward. I uploaded my photos with no issues at all. I rearranged them how I wanted them to appear in the book, and even got to choose the format, theme and template. They have some super cute birthday themes!

The number of photos and prices vary depending on the number of pages. Standard books are 20 pages and hold up to 100 photos. The 10×10 gloss lay flat start at $45 and matte lay flat at $50. The 12×12 gloss is $50 and matte $55. Their prices are very, very reasonable. It was packaged very carefully and the book was in perfect condition when it arrived.

I repacked and wrapped it very neatly and sent it off to my brother. He was SO thrilled with the book, and was happy to have the memories captured in such a way. He couldn’t thank me enough, and it just made my heart smile to send something that I personally created for him.

The quality of Nowvel photo books is seriously impressive. The paper is thick and and the binding was awesome. This book should last a long, long time and can be passed down to future generations in the family!

We surprised my brother with a friend of his who he wasn’t expecting to be here, and they had a blast playing horseshoes at one of our favorite bar & grill restaurants.

Our area has lots of breweries and we visited quite a few.

We enjoyed their visit so very much, and I hope they can come back soon so we can create more memories (and I can create another book!). I think I will be making more photo books too for my family memories. It’s kind of sad these days that most people don’t put together photo albums anymore, due to smart phones and digital cameras. Photos tend to just stay on the computer or SD card, and never make it to a photo book for others to see. Not anymore though! I cannot wait to set my photo book proudly on the coffee table in the living room, so everyone can enjoy the photos!

My daughter would love a book highlighting events of her Freshman year in high school… events and photos with her friends, so I would love to do a book like that for her.

I made a list of local places that I wanted to go, and I think I’m half way down the list. So I would add those photos to the book.

I would make a book for my dad who turns 80 this year. It would be of my mom who has passed as well as all of us and his grandchildren.

I would put my fishing trips and my trips to the beach and to Ohio with my daughter. So many memories waiting to go in there!
