I recently reviewed the iHearSafe earbuds, and now I’ve had the chance to review the iHearSafe headphones and earclips as well. I am a huge fan of these products, and wanted to share some thoughts on the above products.
What I most like about all of the iHearSafe products is that the decibel level only goes up to 85 decibels, unlike the normal MP3 players headphones/earbuds, which can exceed 120 decibels. The iHearSafe headphones and earclips help prevent Noise Induced Hearing Loss.
I let my son (who was home from college last weekend) try both the headphones and earclips, as he is a gamer, and I thought he would be a great person to get honest opinions from.
He first tried the headphones, and he thought the sound was pretty good for something so safe! He liked the sound quality and said he would maybe use these for gaming. The only drawback on the headphones is they felt a little small on his head. My son is 19, so I think these would be best suited for smaller children.
Next my son tried the earclips. He really liked these and said that he could definitely use these for his gaming, as they are very comfortable, and the sound is perfect. The earclips fit comfortably over his ears, without being cumbersome. They stayed snuggly on his ears. As a matter of fact, he took them back to college with him, and wants to start using them for his gaming instead of his other ones.
Some features of iHearSafe headphones and earclips:
They automatically limit volume. No matter how high the device volume is turned up, they will always remain below the 85dB threshold of when hearing damage can begin.

Conclusion: I love iHearSafe products – all of them! It’s such a nice feeling to know you’re doing something good for you kids and loved ones by providing them with safe options for listening devices. I know I’ve made a good choice in using these, and I know my kids will not suffer hearing loss due to loud music!
