I used to buy (and sell) on eBay quite a bit a few years ago. To be honest, I haven’t visited eBay in quite some time, and I now realize how much I have been missing. I have been missing out on a huge selection of products, at very reasonable prices. Back in the “old” days of eBay, the items were generally used, and sold by individuals. Now they have brand new products which are available using Buy It Now.
Here are some great things I found for possible gifts for friends and family from the eBay Gift Guide this holiday season. On my gift list are:
My 16-year old daughter – I think I would get her some perfume (partly so she will stop “borrowing” mine!). I think she would enjoy Viva La Juicy La Fleur perfume ($69.99) – it’s young & hip and contains scents she likes.
My BFF’s daughter – from the “Unique Gifts” section, I would buy the Hello Kitty 2-slice toaster. She loves anything and everything Hello Kitty! It is priced at only $37.80!
My BFF’s 15-year old son – Since he enjoys gaming so much (and music), I know he would be thrilled with the New Sol Republic Tracks HD V10 Headphones ($113.89)
My BFF – I am considering the Keurig Single Cup Coffee Brewer. She is fascinated with my Keurig and would be so excited to have one of her own! The price is right too, it is only $98.88.
22-year old son – My son desperately needs a new wallet! His is falling apart, so I think the Tommy Hilfiger Black Slim Trifold Wallet ($25.99). It even comes in a gift box – which means I don’t have to go on the never ending search for a box for it!
The Hubster – I have found the PERFECT gift for him! It is the Black & Decker 12V Cordless Drill with Stud Sensor (and it comes with a handy storage bag) ($46.98)! Since we recently purchased our retirement/vacation home as our 2nd home, he needs just about everything in the way of tools. I have found a few DIY projects for him at the new home, and this gift would make those jobs a bit easier.
My big brother – He would love the Samsonite Travel Accessories Window Solar Charger ($23.99). He is a guy on the go, and this would help him in so many ways.
The sister-in-law – DOONEY & BOURKE FLORENTINE LEATHER Slim Wristlet ($64.99) It is super cute!
My 20-year old nephew – The Black Casio G-Shock Watch ($50.92).
My online BFF – Toms Women’s Classic Olive Canvas ($43.99). These are just so…her.
eBay’s Gift Guide is quite impressive! There is something for everyone, whether it is for a male or female, young or old. It is really easy to navigate the site and and their Holiday Gift Guide since you can find the right gift from the selections on the right hand side (by gender, price, etc.). You can even take advantage of free shipping! I found several things I would love to receive for Christmas, so I added them to my eBay Wish List. This will make it really easy for my husband 🙂
Something REALLY neat that you can do on eBay is buy a group gift! You can divide the cost of a gift with your friends (or family), which helps you to buy a bigger or better gift. I love this idea, as one person may not be able to afford a certain gift for someone, but when you share the cost with others, it is totally doable! I love, love, love this idea!
If you need even more to love about eBay, how about the eBay Mobile App? It is available on iTunes and you can get your shopping done while you are on the go!
And you can find some great deals right from your phone!
Make sure you follow @eBay on Twitter, eBay on Pinterest and like eBay on Facebook too!
How about you? Do you shop on eBay, or will you be shopping there this holiday season? I highly encourage you to check it out – I would hate for you to miss all that I have been missing the past few years!
*I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of eBay. I received a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
