Children, quite possibly, have the most vivid and wild imaginations. They are able to go anywhere, be anything, and dream up the most wonderful adventures! I remember concocting some fun stories as a child and now, I see that Luv possesses the same day-dreamer quality I had as a child. I love watching her play outside on windy days, that’s when the “wind orcs” come… she steadies herself and prepares for battle against these imaginary creatures. She also loves to sneak around the house as a cat, mewing and purring. Her imagination impresses me much.
Best-selling author, Nancy Tillman also has children who love to use their imagination. Pretending to be all sorts of different animals was the inspiration for her newest book I’d Know You Anywhere, My Love. It is written from the mother’s point of view, assuring her children that her love will never drift, regardless of the form their imagination takes on…
Such a sweet, sweet book!
My heart swelled while reading I’d Know You Anywhere, My Love to Luv. She didn’t take notice of my eyes tearing up, she was too busy enjoying the beautiful artwork and all the animals!
Luv’s Thoughts:
The momma is talking to her child. I love the little pink pig. What else I like in there is the fox, because it’s looking at the grass, I think.
We talked a bit about how the momma is talking to her child, as her child imagines him or herself as each animal. Luv’s eyes lit up, I have a feeling I will be seeing new animals in our house now. *chuckle*

My daughter and son are very creative in role playing and other games, and they love to play pretend. The games they come up with are very imaginative and they use their toys and other everyday items into magical things for play:)
I’d love to share this with my 1 year old. My husband does not like to read, but I love it and want to share that passion with my son. The more books that I introduce him to, the better chance there is of creating a life long learner. He’s met the giraffes at the zoo so I think this would appeal to him.
This would be great to read with my daughter. She amazes us with her creativity every day.

My daughter wants to become a mermaid. She told my husband that I wouldn’t like her living in my bathtub. And, I’d have to bring her chocolate chip cookies but it’d be easy for her to brush her teeth because she’d be in the tub.
