## Babies “R” US celebrate Baby’s First Christmas

Perfect Christmas dress bought. Tree decorated. Stocking hung. Anticipation of our 6 month old waking up to the magic of Christmas morning. That was my husband and I 8 years ago.

We packed her up and brought her to see Santa. She wasn’t happy about it but she didn’t cry. My first Christmas as a mama was so much fun! We were still tired of course because Piper was not sleeping through the night. Giving new holiday pj’s so we would be looking put together for the all important Christmas morning photo. We were still figuring things out but we started traditions that year that we still do to this day.

Like visiting the zoo the day after Christmas. We get a yearly membership since we started that tradition when Piper was was a baby and it is now something that everyone in the family looks forward too.

We still go and see Santa Claus.

Every.single.year.

We take silly Christmas morning pictures now too. Because we have silly girls. We watch Christmas movies, play with toys, play games, and eat a big Christmas morning breakfast. Who knows, the traditions you start now might even become traditions your children’s families will have as well!
