Sonic Super Crunch Chicken Strips Review

I have a confession.  I am a bit addicted to Sonic Drive-Ins’ Cherry Limeades.  Whew, I am glad that I have finally admitted it because it is something my husband has known for some time now since he sees my debit card transactions.  While I was pregnant with our 3 girls I would run through Sonic and get myself a Cherry Slush.  Love them!  In fact, after I had my first daughter I was SO hungry since I hadn’t eaten all day and the hospital cafeteria was closed but Sonic is “Open Late” so I sent a friend to get me one of their Grilled Cheese Sandwiches.  It tasted like a little piece of heaven at that moment.

Today, I bring my girls when we need a quick meal.  They have long loved Sonic’s Jumbo Popcorn Chicken and Tots.  Sonic Drive-In is easy to get in and out of, kids and adults love the roller skating waitstaff, and who doesn’t love a slush or shake once in awhile?

Sonic Drive-In has something new on the menu.  Super Crunch Chicken Strips!  A little extra crisp but still the same yummy taste.  All-white meat chicken strips are packed with a super crunch and irresistible when paired with Buttermilk Ranch, Honey Mustard, or Hickory BBQ sauce.  You could eat them plain which is how my oldest prefers her foods.  School was out early.  Once a month we have a teacher workday so school gets out at 11.  We had a friend come and hang out with us so off to Sonic Drive-In we went to have lunch.  Kids chose Super Crunch Chicken Strips, Mozzarella Sticks, a Chili Cheese Coney, a kid’s Corn Dog Meal (with Tots, and a Cherry Limeade), and a Cherry Slush.

I ate some of the leftover Chicken Strips and have to say they are very good.

There was absolutely non of the Chili Cheese Coney for me to try and the Corn Dog and Tots disappeared before I could grab any.  Those kids were hungry!

I did nab one of the Mozzarella sticks, who doesn’t love fried cheese?

I had very satisfied customers!  Try some Super Crunch Chicken Strips the next time you visit your local Sonic Drive In.  Maybe get yourself a Cherry Limeade for me.  Don’t forget, for those late night cravings most Sonic Drive-In  locations are open late!  With over 3,500 drive-ins there is probably one in your neighborhood.  I thought this was pretty cool, get text alerts from Sonic telling you the latest news and also receive special offers!  Nice right?  Give  Sonic Drive-In a like on Facebook to be one of the first to know when they come out with new products.  Make your Christmas shopping a little easier by purchasing Sonic Drive-In gift cards for all those hard to buy for people on your list.

  1. I have never eaten at Sonic but see it advertised all the time on TV. The chicken strips and every thing shown looks yummy. Now I am hungry LOL

  2. Making me hungry. I have not had the chicken strips but I have tried the hot dogs and the soda. I love the soda mix choices they have at Sonic

  3. Though we don’t get to go often, we love Sonic. Cannot resist a shake or malt with some fries and sometimes the strips.
