I know I have said it before – I love reading and books!  I cannot even count the number of books in my house.  And it seems like we are always picking up new books for the girls.

A lot of the books that we currently have are fall or Halloween related.  It’s just such a fun time of year, and there are so many cute books out there!  And I just received three fall/Halloween books from Sourcebooks to review – Pumpkin Time, A Halloween Scare at My House, and Sesame Street Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin Time by Erzsi Deàk (illustrated by Doug Cushman) is about a little girl named Evy.  She doesn’t notice any of the silly things going on around her because she is focused on one thing – growing a big pumpkin to share at a feast with her friends!

In A Halloween Scare at My House by Eric James (illustrated by Marina Le Ray), there are lots of scary things outside the house – witches, ghosts, werewolves, monsters, vampires, mummies.  No wait, they are inside the house – for a party!  And the one with the scariest costume at the party wins a special prize!

In Sesame Street Happy Halloween by Lillian Jaine (illustrated by Ernie Kwiat), Count von Count’s friends stop by his castle for a Halloween party.  But if they are all there, who is tapping on the door?  Find out who the mystery guest is!

I enjoyed reading all of these books to my girls and they enjoyed listening to them – cute stories and fun pictures to look at!  You can order any of these books from Sourcebooks, or enter below to win your own copies of these three fun books!  Connect with Sourcebooks on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest!
