With summer now in full swing, the kids are always out and about enjoying the sunshine and some fabulous summer fun. When I was a kid, my mom used to refer to my mess of toys as a “pig sty” and rightfully so. That “happy as a pig in mud” phrase is more than just a simile, it’s true. If you don’t believe me, just ask Peppa… Pippa Pig that is!

For those of you that aren’t familiar with Peppa Pig¸it is an adorable children’s show that focuses on the young daughter of a little (or big?) pig family. She, her parents, her younger brother, and her friends are always up to some sort of adventure and it always ends with a huge smile on the faces of, both, the characters and the viewers.
Peppa is a lovable, exuberant little piggy who lives with her little brother George, Mommy Pig, and Daddy Pig. Peppa’s favorite things include playing games, dressing up, days out, and jumping in muddy puddles. Her adventures always end happily with loud snorts of laughter.

Whether it’s a bright, sunshiny day or one complete with a drenching rain, Peppa Pig knows how to have fun. From her boating adventures with Grandpa Pig and the work trips with Daddy Pig to the muddy puddle jumping fun with her little brother George and even the camping trips with the whole family, Peppa Pig knows how to make any and every day one that is rather exciting.
This summer, my family had the opportunity to enjoy the season just like good ol’ Peppa Pig would. With some perfect Peppa goodies on hand, we were able to enjoy some family time, head outside, and even cuddle up for a great story. Now, I’m sure that many of you may have brushed up on all things Peppa through my previous features but I’m excited to share with all of you the newest fun that is to be had. Just take a look!

Peppa Pig Rainy Day Doll
For boys and girls alike, dolls can be a boatload of fun. Of course, with Peppa Pig, this particular “doll” is unlike any other. At 9” tall, this little piggy is perfect for accompanying your little one for any day’s worth of playful adventures.

My own little ones were thrilled that their favorite oinking friend came complete with a bright yellow raincoat, some willies (aka rain boots), and even a matching hat! Whether they wanted to play indoors, at the park, or even in some of those infamous backyard muddy puddles, Peppa Pig was always in tow. After all, when every adventure ends in a fit full of loud laughter, who wouldn’t want to bring Peppa along?
Speaking of Peppa Pig adventures, can you think of one of the most fun adventures that this sweet pig is fond of? Muddy puddle jumping of course! However, as much fun as it may be, we parents don’t necessarily want our little ones slathering themselves with mud on a daily basis. On the contrary, well, it’s safe to say that most kids would love doing just that. Thankfully, there is a happy medium…

Peppa Pig Tree House Play Center with Ball Pit
On the days that you can’t actually jump in muddy puddles, opt for a ball pit instead! Jumping, hopping, sitting, laying, standing, or even doing somersaults; ball pits are just as much fun as any muddy puddle.
You’re invited to hang out with Peppa and George in their Tree House! This colorful and fun open playhouse includes 20 ball pit balls and a bonus set of 25 balls for a total of 45 balls! Come over to Peppa’s tree house for a playdate that’s full of great surprises and enjoy the peek through windows and two large crawl through openings!
My little ones have a great love for the outdoors so the fact that this play center had a tree house theme to coincide with their love of Peppa Pig made it even greater in their eyes.

Made with a durable vinyl, not only does this play center hold up to the rambunctious adventures of playful little piggies… err, kiddies… but it is also super easy to clean. Through indoor play that’s neat and tidy or outdoor play that can get a little bit messy, this play center is perfect for having a Peppa-like adventure of your own.
After a long day of fun and adventure, even the most active little piggies need some down time. After a good meal with the family and washing off all of that mud, what is the one thing that is always sure to calm even the rowdiest kiddos? Story time! And, for that, it’s Peppa to the rescue once more.

Peppa Pig Goes Swimming
Even Peppa and her little brother, George, are fond of great bedtime stories and this book is exactly that. After spending the day finding fun at every turn, you can cuddle up with this book and imagine the adventures of tomorrow.

In this book, Peppa Pig is spending the day with her family and friends at the pool. While she is a pretty good, experienced swimmer, the same cannot be said for little George. With Peppa’s little brother scared to jump in, the family tries to help. How do you think Mummy and Daddy Pig will convince him to get into the pool?
With summertime often being full of water related play, relating to this sweet pig family through the mutual enjoyment of pool time adventures is sure to put a smile on your child’s face.
Muddy puddles, sunshiny days, indoor play, ball pits, tree houses, and swimming pools – there is always an adventure to be had. This summer, find those adventures with Peppa Pig.
