Celebrate A Candy Free Easter

Disclosure review
Easter is just around the corner and while I adore both of my kids, I am always trying to be creative and mindful when it comes to the gifts I give them. On New Years Eve, my husband and I sat down and talked about what areas we wanted our family to grow in for 2016. One of those areas of growth is sibling relationships. Lola is two and Malone is six and while there is a few years between them, there tends to be quite a bit of overlap between them when it comes to toys and interest.

This year, we decided that instead of individual Easter baskets, we would give them a joint Easter basket and then take a day trip to an indoor waterpark. It feels like the best of both worlds- they’ll get a little something they both love and can play with and we’ll get a fun family trip too. We like to do a candy free Easter ourselves, since we know the grandparents will more than cover that.

Calendars.com had everything I was looking for and more. From Star Wars items to games and cuddly animals, they’ve got it all for you in one stop. They’ve got much more than just calendars!

Here’s the Easter basket my kids will be receiving this year. It’s the perfect mix of something to do and something to love.

They each will be getting a plush toy of their own and actives to share. I love getting activities to do with the kids- they make rainy days and road trips go so much smoother when we’ve got something fun to try. And I know they’ll both love adding a new plush to their cuddle collection.

Floppy Spotted Deer Plush Toy. The spotted deer toy is waiting for you to cuddle with it. Made of quality materials, the plush toy is so soft that you don’t want to let go!

Kiiroitori Medium Plush Toy. Part of the Rilakkuma Brand brought to you by San-X. Kiiroitori is a yellow bird who spends time with Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma. Kiiroitori means yellow bird in Japanese. Kiiroitori likes cleaning and often has to clean up Rilakkuma’s mess and often scolds Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma for being naughty. Kiiroitori Medium Plush measures 7.5 inches in length.

Play-Doh Ice Cream Cone Container Toy Set. You’re going to make some tasty-looking Play-Doh treats with the tools and modeling compound in this container that’s shaped like an ice cream cone! The extruder lets you shape delicious-looking pretend ice cream treats with the 2 colors of Play-Doh modeling compound, and so do the “ice cream” scoop and spoon. Decorate your pretend treats with the smoother, softer Play-Doh Plus compound! When you’re done creating your chilled “treats,” store your compound and tools in the container! Comes in red, purple, and green. Color selected at random based on availability.

Minions Sticker Activity Fun Portfolio. The set featuring Minions includes activity pages that include magic reveal stickers, 3 sticker sheets, 1 marker and 4 crayons. Color, Sticker and Create with this set. A fun activity to take on the go! Ages 3 and up.

Paw Patrol Playing Card Deck. Play classic card games like Rummy, Gin and Go Fish with your favorite characters from Paw Patrol! Each of your old favorites gets a twist with Paw Patrol characters on every card.

I have a daughter that is 10 and a granddaughter that is 2 (my kids are 15 years apart-lol). I would honestly take things from this and give to each of them. My daughter would love the deer and the playing cards. My granddaughter would love the chick, the minions stickers, and the playdough.

  2. I would love to give this to my daughter! She is three years old I think she would love everything, especially the play-doh ice cream!

  3. Oh I would give it to my little grandson who lives with me! He would go nuts over the deer…we go and look for deer about 3 times a week…he just loves them!
