Saltopia Infused Sea Salts

saltopia sea salts
I have always enjoyed cooking with fun spices and mixed flavors. I believe that salt enhances the flavor of just about any type of food. I have to admit that I have only tried a few types of salt though. Of course I used to use regular table salt before sea salt became popular. I only used sea salt in my cooking, until….these Saltopia Infused Sea Salts arrived for my review.

Saltopia Signature Line Sample Set {$36.95}

This set includes the 30 flavors of the Artisan Infused line of sea salts from Saltopia! Let me tell you, I have been missing out for many years. Who knew that there were so many varieties of salt, and how much of a difference they make in the flavor of foods.

I have had a blast trying them all out, but I think my favorite sea salts from Saltopia are Great Outdoors {Applewood Smoked Sea Salt}, Black Magic {Black Garlic Infused Sea Salt}, Week in Modena {Balsamic Vinegar Infused sea salt}, and Kiss & Tell {garlic infused sea salt}. I never imagined that some of the combinations would work, but they really do! Some of these include Peach & Cinnamon, Pomegranate, Blueberry, Lemon & Lime and SO many more. Their huge assortment of salts is quite impressive!

There are SO many different salts included in this assortment from Saltopia, and I cannot wait to try them all.

What’s neat is that after you have tried them all you might find that you have one or two favorites, and luckily you can buy them in cute little jars.

I also received the Saltopia Himalayan Chunk Salt with grater {$15.95}.

Himalayan Pink salt is the purest salt to be found on earth. It is now hand-mined from the mountains and brought to the culinary market where we can enjoy a boastful 84 essential minerals from this salt.

I was really impressed with the size of this chunk of Pink Himalayan salt that I received. I envisioned it being smaller and “flaky”, which seemed kind of messy. I was wrong though, as this is as solid as it can be. I simply grate a bit into my recipes, or on my plated dish. It is also fun to put on the table when guests come over for dinner. Everyone is tickled pink {no pun intended} with this! You can use these in place of salt and pepper shakers even. Not only is it be fun to display on the table, but it is an absolutely stunning centerpiece! For added “wow factor”, it can be placed on fancy dish or pedestal.

I would have never guessed that I could have so much fun with…salt! I really enjoy mixing things up while cooking with the various sea salt flavors from Saltopia {and honestly, I’m a little more inspired than I used to be}.

Saltopia also has Salt Lamps, which I have been admiring {they are gorgeous!}.

  1. I once did a salt room spa hour, it was nice and relaxing. Not sure if it was the salt or just the fact I was reclining with no noise, nothing to clean, nothing to organize, etc.
