Char Crust Dry Rub Seasonings Review

Char Crust seasonings

We do a lot of grilling in the warm summer months, and we tend to use the same brands for the marinade usually. My brother is a great chef and always makes his own rubs, but I just can’t seem to get it right, though I do love the flavor of rubs on grilled meat.

I needn’t worry any longer – I have found Char Crust! Char Crust has taken the guesswork out of making rubs, and they have done the hard work for me (gosh, I love that), with their varieties of tasty dry rub seasonings.

Whether preparing a family dinner or a party feast, professional chefs and home cooks alike are always looking for unique and simple ways to spice up their dishes. Char Crust ® dry-rub seasonings consist of premium herb blends, spices and other natural ingredients that can be simply rubbed onto the surface of uncooked meat or fish, or sprinkled over raw vegetables then broiled, baked, grilled, pan-seared, roasted, or sautéed.

Although I haven’t tried all of the Char Crust flavors yet, we did have chicken “rubbed” with Roasted Garlic Peppercorn tonight.  Preparation was really easy.

After I washed and dried boneless, skinless chicken breasts, I dredged each breast in the seasoning rub:

The directions on the box said this particular rub can be used on fish or beef, but I knew it would also be good on chicken.  The box also said to grill or broil, but since hubby is under the weather and I wanted to make a quick dinner, I just placed the coated chicken breasts in a medium hot skillet with a little olive oil.  They turned out perfectly! Granted, the rub was pretty dark, but that is just because of the delicious seasonings. They are not burnt – I guarantee it 🙂

I may have been a little over zealous with my dredging – I really only needed a little bit, as the rub is so flavorful.  This one package would have easily coated probably 8-10 breasts (I only made 4).  The flavor really came through and the chicken was SO moist and juicy.

Dinner couldn’t have been easier and my family absolutely loved it.  It was a little too peppery for me, but again, I think if I had used a little less of the rub, it would have been perfect.  Next I am going to try the Ginger Teriyaki – YUM!

I can now enjoy my favorite flavors without much effort on my part (especially since my husband is the grill master). I can simply rub Char Crust dry rub seasonings on our meat of choice and sit back and wait for a delicious dinner.  At $4.99 a box, I can stock up on all of my favorite flavors and have them handy for last minute dinners, or even well thought out pre-planned dinners 🙂

Char Crust dry rub seasonings can be purchased on their website, as well as at many retailers.  Char Crust Dry Rubs are also available at Amazon! *Note: above is an affiliate link.
