Halloween PEEPS, MIKE & IKE Halloween Candy

October 10, 2015 by Jennifer 142 Comments

Disclosure review
The PEEPS® and PEEPS & COMPANY® products, information, and additional gift pack have been provided by PEEPS® and PEEPS & COMPANY®.
peeps

Halloween will soon be here, which means that little ghosts, goblins and superheroes will be appearing at our doors, with Halloween bags opened wide, anxiously waiting to see what treats you have for them. I love Halloween, and I just happen to love candy too! I was in awe when I received a boxful of some of my favorite candies for review – PEEPS®, MIKE AND IKE®, HOT TAMALES® and GOLDENBERG’S®!

Let’s start with the PEEPS! I have enjoyed these ever since I was a kid, and as I have grown older, I have become quite creative with them. For instance, last year during the Spring season, I made Peeps Easter Bunny Krispie treats! The colorful bunnies and chicks, plated with my PEEPS bunnies, looked adorable (if I do say so myself).

I was unaware, however, that PEEPS are available in different flavors! I had fun sampling the chocolate mousse, caramel apple, and candy corn PEEPS. They are all dipped in tasty chocolate (Candy Corn flavored Chicks Dipped in White Fudge, Marshmallow Orange Chicks dipped in Milk Chocolate, Caramel Apple flavored Chicks Dipped in Caramel Fudge, and Pumpkin Spice flavored Chicks Dipped in White Fudge).

Mmmm chocolate…

In addition to all of the wonderful flavors, these cute and festive PEEPS® will be great for Halloween parties, handing out on Halloween night, or even just for enjoying at home before Halloween!

We are planning a party with our friends, and it is going to be super fun. My husband and I have picked out the perfect costumes (I wish I could tell you what we are going to be – it is AWESOME!). The party will be at our friends house, but I am bringing finger foods and finger desserts. Oh the fun I am going to have doing this, now that I am well-stocked with PEEPS® and other candy. PEEPS® Tombstones, PEEPS® Marshmallow Ghosts and the darling PEEPS® Marshmallow Pumpkins will definitely be a big hit.

peeps tombstones #PEEPSONALITY
Maybe I will make a large, creepy cake and put the tombstones and ghosts on top. I might also make some festive cupcakes with an Orange PEEPS® Marshmallow Pumpkin atop each one.

What about MIKE AND IKE® and HOT TAMALES®? What’s not to love? Whether I am in the mood for something a little spicy, or sweet, all of my cravings are covered with these tasty, chewy candies.

If you want to be the popular house on your street this year, you might want to get some MIKE AND IKE® Mummy’s Mix/Vampire Variety Snack Pack. This variety bag comes with festive MIKE AND IKE® pouches of both the Mummy’s Mix and the Vampire Variety flavors.

And finally (last but definitely not least) are Goldenberg’s Peanut Chews. I received these in both milk and dark chocolate and they are VERY tasty!

All of the above products are very reasonably priced, and when you take advantage of the below discount code, you can save even more. It’s a great time to stock up on Halloween candy!

You can use the PEEPS Discount code: HALLOWPEEPS15 to take 30% off your next purchase (no minimum required, code is good from now through 10/31/15).

I haven’t given a minute’s thought about what I’ll do on Halloween! I think my spouse will be away on a business trip, so I’ll probably just be home with the dog and the cat. We live in a rural area, so we don’t get trick-or-treaters. It is very likely that I’ll go into town on the day after Halloween, though, to get some cheap candy!
