I have done many a review in my blogging life, and I have tried many goodies. The company that I am about to introduce you to – Heidi’s Heavenly Cookies – has won over my heart, taste buds and stomach. To say I was excited about doing this review would be an understatement. I jumped for joy, I ran and told my daughter and I waited anxiously for these cookies to arrive.
Someone had previously mentioned to me how good these cookies were, but I sometimes have my doubts about baked goods that are being shipped. I shouldn’t have worried at all – these were perfect from the moment they arrived. I received the “For the Love of Chocolate” assortment for review. The packaging was gorgeous, I had to admire it before I dove in. Once I had the box open, I ripped into gently opened the plastic bag that they were carefully sealed in. Each cookie was perfect, and none were broken!
Look at these little pieces of heaven…the name Heidi’s Heavenly Cookies really says it all! I started sampling and could not stop (literally). I loved every…single…cookie. The quality and freshness was evident in each bite. The instructions say to freeze them if they are not eaten within two days of arrival, as they contain no preservatives, but this was not a problem for us at all. When my husband came home, he was just as delighted as I was and he promptly started sampling too – and couldn’t stop.
They were all delicious, but we all have our favorites. My favorite was the Toffee Chocolate Chip cookie. The outer edges of the cookie are buttery and full of flavor (my taste buds did a little dance – I’m pretty sure!), and the best part is in the middle. They have toffee (rich and oh so good) and chocolate chips and I don’t know what else, but they were delectable. I just now discovered on their website that they also have Toffee candy available…oh my!
My husbands favorite were the Chocolate Eclipse cookies. He polished several off very quickly, and kept commenting how good they were. They were moist and full of flavor.
We only sampled a few of all the cookies available at Heidi’s Heavenly Cookies. I am so anxious to try the rest, and I see myself ordering more in the near future, hope you will too!
