I am a huge Claim Jumper fan. Fortunately we have a restaurant nearby, and it is my favorite place to go when we dine out. The menu items are so tasty, and the portions are huge (my hubby loves this too!). Good news! I can now enjoy Claim Jumper meals in the comfort of my home, for those times when I do not feel like going out, or when I am just craving one of their items. I recently sampled a few new frozen entrees from Claim Jumper, and I am very, very pleased with the quality and flavor of these.
I tried the Cheese Ravioli Parmigiana (mmmmm), the Chicken Marsala (very good), Chicken and Penna a la Vodka (my daughter ate this one before I could try it, but she said it was really good), Chicken and Shrimp Penne Rustica (very good flavor, and the chicken was tender), and last but certainly not least, the Shrimp Scampi (I was pleasantly surprised how many shrimp were in this – and they were nice and plump too!).
Claim Jumper Restaurants first opened in 1977 in California. Today, the same home-cooked taste and high-quality ingredients are used in all of the frozen entrees.
Of course, those are not the only other frozen foods by Claim Jumper, they also have Chicken Pot Pie, Meatloaf Dinner, Country Fried Chicken, Spaghetti and meatballs, Dutch Apple Pie, Carrot Cake and their FAMOUS Motherlode Chocolate Cake. If you have never tried this you have to! For my sons 9th birthday party we bought this cake from the restaurant – it is huge, and full of chocolaty goodness. Look to the left to see a picture of this beauty!
Claim Jumper frozen entrees are so handy for busy moms and families on the go. Make sure you keep an eye out for these yummy frozen entrees at your grocery store – they really are handy for those nights when you want something tasty, and they are great to have on hand for anytime. They are affordably priced too – from $3.29 to $7.99.
