Watermelon Tomato Salad

July 12, 2015 by Tammy Litke 17 Comments

The flavors of sweet watermelon, tiny tomatoes and feta cheese complement each other providing a sweet & salty combination.  Add some fresh mint for a little punch and you have a salad that’s perfect for summer parties, and you don’t have to heat up the kitchen to make it.

This looks really yummy. I have made a similar recipe with cucumber replacing the watermelon. It is interesting because I find that watermelon and cucumber are very similar tastes, so I bet this would be amazing. I will be trying soon.

Oh, how wonderful and refreshing! Just in case I can’t find feta cheeser, I’ll use a little goat cheese. they are similar. Pinned and planned, I can’t wait!

I make this quite often in the summertime, but I also add thinly sliced red onion & balsamic vinegar. Delicious!
