Pink SKIL iXO Palm-Sized Screwdriver Kit

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and being a woman, that’s a huge concern of mine.  I love supporting Susan G. Komen and the companies that donate to them as well. SKIL has partenered with Susan G. Komen and has launched “Tools for the Cure”, which includes the Pink SKIL iXO Palm-Sized Screwdriver Kit.

I’m hoping something breaks or I need a screwdriver for something because I’m dying to use the pink SKIL iXO Palm-Sized Screwdriver, it fits perfectly in my hand and it’s PINK! It is perfect for things around the house and since Jeff keeps losing all of his tools, I now have this handy tool to do things on my own and not need his help. The kit includes the iXO pink cordless screwdriver, right angle attachment, 5-piece bit set, charger and a cute pink carrying bag.

For every pink iXO Palm-Sized Screwdriver kit SKIL sells between August 1, 2012 and December 31, 2012 they will donate ten percent (10%) to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, with a minimum donation of $100,000 to the organization. I’ve seen them sold at Walmart and it also sold on Amazon for $39.98.

Make sure to follow SKIL on Twitter and Facebook.

THE GIVEAWAY has ended.

One lucky Eighty MPH reader will win their very own pink SKIL iXO Palm-Sized Screwdriver kit ($39.98 ARV)

  1. I would use the pink SKIL iXO to fix things in the house. My hubby and son keep all the tools in a storage shed to work on their vehicles and it’s months before I can get my hands on a tool 🙂

  2. we are signing the papers to buy our house this weekend and going to be remodeling it that is what i would use it for

  3. A this moment I could use it to tighten the nuts and bolts on a vanity bench I have and, also, to adjust some of my cabinet doors.

  4. This would be great! Although I don’t have a specific project in mind… it IS becoming painful to use a screwdriver for more than a few spins… &, well… seriously, who DOESN’T grab a screwdriver when they notice a loose screw? (people excluded in that statement.. lol)

  5. I would use it for things around the house that I do such as hanging shades, shelves in the pantry and laundry room, etc.

  6. There are always many little repair jobs to do around the house such as replacing cabinet door knobs that this tool would be great for.

  7. I would use this constantly! I’m always fixing something or hanging something around the house and this would be perfect for that!

  8. when my hubby leaves for training it would be nice to have something to do my honey do list myself around the house.

  9. i would use it for everything my hubby is too lazy to do. so i dont have to hear him moan and complain when i ask him where the tools are. i would have my OWN. lol

  10. I would use it for helping me put up new blinds after my hubby puts in our new floor in the kitchen, thanks

  11. Id use it for switching out my door knobs…am trying to get these AND the doors switched out of our 30 plus year old house that has everything in it still original. Also to take off the hinges of the cabinets in kitchen to refinish them.

  12. I would use the SKIL iXO Palm-Sized Screwdriver to remove all the child safety latches from our counter doors and drawers.

  13. I would use this for various crafts and household tasks such as drilling a hold in my broom handle so that I could hand it up on a hook.

  14. I would use it all over the house! Instead of a butter knife! LOL How many of us women end up doing this??????

  15. My hubby is a handy man and I sometimes go help him on a job. Wish I had my own girlie set of tools. There is nothing girlie about his tools and I always have to wait till he is finished so I can use them. I would luv to have a pink set.

  16. Definitely would use it for things are the house that maybe I’ve asked my husband to do and they never got done, haha

  17. I would do everything I need to get done and it would stay were I can find it instead of constantly waiting on my husband to loan me a tool from his kit. It would be MINE

  18. I have to tighten our toilet seat at least once a week! I don’t know why, but it is constantly loosened, and it seems the screwdriver is never where it is supposed to be, so I would use it for this purpose.

    Thanks!

  19. I would use it to fix small things around the house! I have a rocking chair that needs it pretty bad!

  20. We are currently fixing things up in the the house after having our roof leaking, and even though Dad helps out, I’d rather fix that falling picture or wobbly shelf myself!

  21. I would use it for chores I have to do around the house… hubby has been bad, and not doing his honey do list…more like honey don’t lol… so if you want something done, you might as well do it yourself I say!

  22. my husband and I are moving into a new place…. and can can I also say perhaps nailing some sense in his head?? lol

  23. I would use it for things like putting furniture together, hanging curtain hardware, tightening pot handles …..

  24. not sure. building furniture for my new place is probably the first thing. i needed it when i moved into my last place. that was a nightmare.

  25. My next DIY project will be to build a floor to ceiling bookcase for my den. I could definitely use the SKIL screwdriver for that!

  26. I have a lot of odd little jobs around the house to get done. I have a photo wall I want to build in my living room and this would be really helpful to have.

  27. i would hide it under my counter so when things needed to be done in the house

i wouldnt have to hunt all over for a tool

  28. My son is always taking the screw drivers & never seems to put them back.
My wife has to hunt everysingle time she needs one.
This would be “Mom’s Screwdriver Set” not to be tuched by the boy!

  29. I would love love love to have this to do some handy work around the house & pink is my favorite color which has me dying for this handy little item 🙂

  30. I do most home improvements as well as vehicle repairs,so I could find a few uses.We just moved so putting furniture together is on the top of my list.

  31. I would keep it for general repair duty in the house, and make it a replacement for the (non-pink) one that my grandson keeps threatening to run off with.

  32. We’re moving into a new house and will have a few new projects to work on and new furniture to build! This would be perfect.

  35. I would use this to put up some curtains and blinds around the house…we moved in a few months ago and our kitchen just has small windows, but I want to put some small curtains up…this would motivate me to buy the curtains and put them up MYSELF!!! 🙂

  36. i have some house renovations id love to use this for however im also planning on a diy headboard project 🙂

  37. Right now I’m painting my bathroom and that drill would work a lot better then the old screwdriver I’ve been using to take things down with. Thanks for this contest.
