SpongeBob Saves the Day with Mega Bloks SpongeBob Squarepants Invisible Boatmobile Rescue Review

Disclosure review
“Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SpongeBob Squarepants!” And who saves the day when Plankton is up to his old tricks again?  SpongeBob Squarepants again!

SpongeBob Logo
Mega Bloks and SpongeBob Squarepants have teamed up to bring you the Mega Bloks SpongeBob Squarepants Invisible Boatmobile Rescue.  Plankton is launching jellyfish in his catapult, and it is up to SpongeBob Squarepants and Patrick to catch the jellyfish in their net!

The Invisible Boatmobile Rescue Set comes with the blocks to build two vehicles – the “invisible” boatmobile (made of translucent blue blocks) and Plankton’s vehicle with the catapult.  It also comes with four jellyfish, a net, a “Jellyfish Fields” sign, SpongeBob Squarepants, Patrick, and Plankton!

I had a lot of fun building the invisible boatmobile and Plankton’s vehicle.  The instructions are easy to follow, are well-illustrated, and tell you which pieces and how many of each piece to use for each step.  The box says that this set is for children ages 5-8, and I would agree.  The pieces are fairly small and there is no way my three year-old would have been able to build the vehicles.  There are also 337 pieces, so it took me some time to sort out and find what I needed for each step.

Once all of the pieces were put together, it was time to play!  The girls had fun launching the jellyfish in the catapult and trying to catch them in SpongeBob’s net.  Sometimes the jellyfish went flying across the room!

  1. We watch SpongeBob all the time. I like Patrick and my daughter’s favorite would probably be SpongeBob.

  2. Who is my favorite? Has to be SpongeBob himself! LOL I have one kid here, whose parents do not have cable… only G-ma and G-pa do, so when he comes over, he gets all excited.. “is Sponge Bob on today?” Too funny

  3. I love Sandy the Squirrel, even though she can be incredibly shrill and annoying! I just like that she doesn’t belong under water 🙂
