Eureka Tent Sleeping Bag Review

2 person tents,4 person tents,kids sleeping bags,durable sleeping bags
Soft, comfortable, warm, compact,”bed-like”.  These words all describe the Eureka sleeping bag that I reviewed for the Spring event!  Actually my 13-year old daughter reviewed it.  It was perfect timing, as she was going to a sleepover and asked me where the sleeping bag was (our old one).  We could not find it anywhere, then I pulled out the new Eureka sleeping bag.  She was so excited that she got to take the new one.   The word “bed-like” above is how she described this, in addition to the other descriptive words.  She said it was so cozy, and felt like her own bed.  I think her friends were slightly jealous.

The sleeping bag that we reviewed from Eureka was the Riner 40 degrees F. {$89.00 ARV}:
Highly compressible, thermally efficient bags that maximize warmth with minimal weight and bulk for extended time while on the trail or traveling.

My daughter raved about this when she came home the next morning. She and I both highly recommend this sleeping bag for camping, or even just sleepovers!  They are attractive, and both boys and girls, men and women can enjoy it. We were amazed how small it rolled up. This would be perfect if you were backpacking, or even just short on space.  It has ThermaShield insulation and a Temperature rating of 40 degrees F – this will definitely keep you warm on those chilly nights!

  1. I really need just about everything for camping but I would love the N!ergy 9 Tent from Eureka tent site. Thanks!

  2. I like that the Silver City – Womens Long sleeping bag is made for a woman's body. They put extra insulation where most women need it most—in the foot and chest area. How Cool!

  3. I like the fact the Koty bag has a compression stuff sack – it makes the bag so much easier to put away.

  4. Another product I would love to have is the Apex 2XT Tent. I always loved the thought that I would become an adventurer and take multi-day hikes out in the wilderness.

  5. I love that they have long versions of the sleeping bags! My husband and I are tall and love when we find things that fit us. 🙂

  7. I like the Tetragon 1610 Tent — sleeps NINE! That'd be awesome to take camping this summer – one room for our stuff, another for us to sleep in. So cool.

  8. i like the the tetragon 8 tent… it would be a great replacement for the ancient tent we have now!

  11. I love the Eureka Condo Tent. If I have to camp with my family, this would be the way to go. They love to camp, but I don't have a sleeping bag to go with them yet. I always get stuck with blankets.

  12. I like the casper and this is what I like about it:

    Specifically patterned to fit a woman’s body.

    With double layer off-set multi-needle quilt construction, the Women’s Casper ultra performance bag has all the
    same features as the original Casper and is:

    * Sized smaller than the original Casper but features the same fill weight
    * Patterned to fit a woman’s body—narrower in the shoulder area with a more generous cut in the hip area
    * Features extra insulation where most women need it most—in the foot and chest are

    Warm

    * Double layer off-set multi-needle quilt construction
    * Fully adjustable contoured hood
    * Differential cut
    * Draft tube

  14. My favorite feature of the bags is that they are light weight. Sometimes the colder-temp-made bags can get pretty heavy.

  15. I also like the External Screen House. Some days the wasps or mosquitos chase me inside the RV when camping, and this would solve that.

  17. I really like the Silver City – Women Bag. It's patterned to fit a woman’s body because it's narrower in the shoulder area with a more generous cut in the hip area and has extra insulation where most women need it most – in the foot and chest area. Very cool@

  18. I like a lot of their tents.. I sure would go camping more if I had a nice one like one of those! The Copper Canyon 1512 is so big I could stay out camping for a month! lol

  20. The outdoors and I don't get along. (If I'm lucky enough to win, I'd give the sleeping bag to my hubby who DOES love the outdoors).

    So, the Entertainer party tent is more my speed!

  21. My favorite feature of the Shawnee is the warm to touch liner. It's not fun to crawl into a cold sleeping bag.

  22. I like that the sleeping bags have warm-to-touch lining. Nothing worse than crawling into an ice cold sleeping bag while camping!
