The hot summer days are becoming the norm where I live, and dreams of summer fun are floating through my head. What might we do this summer? We will definitely go on a few short trips, and we will have daily fun locally too. I hate to have to worry about cleaning the house before we go out and about, but sometimes I feel guilty doing something fun while the house needs attention. Ideally I would have a maid or a specialty cleaning services company to help me out.
Ahhh imagine the possibilities of playing with the kids, or heading to the park while everything was taken care of at home. This is probably the dream of most moms, especially those with young children. Little ones can wear a mom out – who has the energy for cleaning? I know I could have used a cleaning service when my kids were little. Even though my kids are teens, they are messier than toddlers in many ways. They leave crumbs everywhere in the kitchen, leave clothes in every room, and don’t even get me started on the bathroom – it is disgusting. I have no idea how they can stand it! Yes, to have a company clean up after my darling slobs would be heavenly.
So there you have it – Eighty MPH Mom’s summer wish! Enjoy your summer – hopefully you won’t have to clean!

That is definitely my summer wish also! I would love for hubby to not have to clean up after all of us. He does most of the housework and if he didn’t, we could get out of the house a lot more because he also has to help me get ready each day. He’s a good man and deserves a maid!! 🙂

Oh, I’m sure my mum would KILL to have something like that-She’s always doing something around the house, and she feels guilty when she’s out too long.
That woman needs to do something for herself every now and again!!
Would LOVE to have some superfab cleaning help around the house. Sometimes I think that someone just coming in to do the laundry would rock.
