Holiday Sweet and Salty Snack Mix

Holiday Sweet and Salty Snack Mix

Sweet & Salty always go great together (at least in my book!). I absolutely love chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered potato chips, so I decided to make a scrumptious holiday mix using my favorite flavors.

Sweet & Salty, Holiday Snack Mix

I started by breaking stick pretzels in half and dipping each in chocolate (see below for my favorite chocolate).  I melted about a cup of these chocolate chips in a bowl in the microwave (in 10 second increments, to make sure it didn’t burn).  I dipped each half into the melted chocolate and placed on a large piece of wax paper.  Before the chocolate hardened, I placed festive christmas sprinkles on each.

Refrigerate for an hour or so, and remove about 10 minutes before serving.  You can put them in a bowl with M & M’s or another candy of your choosing, and mix them up, or carefully place the pretzels as shown above.

Sephra chocolate is my very favorite chocolate ever. I keep a couple of bags on hand at all times, as it melts so well and it is amazingly delicious. Two big bags come with the order, and I purchase them from Amazon. This is the best chocolate to use in a chocolate fountain or even chocolate fondue. We enjoyed a chocolate fountain for my daughter’s birthday party, along with other fun food for teen parties.

I have provided info below, if you want to order this heavenly chocolate for your holiday baking!

  1. Yummy! I love the combo of sweet and salty. And pretzels are my go-to salty snack. I usually make chocolate covered pretzels for family during the holidays.
