Sometimes being an adult is hard – having to work, pay bills, take care of a house and children. One of the hardest things for me though is having to dress up every day for work. Despite having been in the workforce for over eight years, I find myself often wanting to dress for comfort in jeans, sweatpants, t-shirts, or sweatshirts. However, I think that would be frowned upon at my office, so every day I put on my dress clothes and suffer for eight hours until I can go home and change into my comfortable clothes.
I was excited to try out some clothing from

Plus, there are so many cute styles available, so I knew I would be able to find something that I liked.
I received two items from the Lisette L Montréal new fall collection – a 32″ length white and black top made of Chevron Knit fabric and 28″ Ankle Pants in Retro Jacquard pattern. I chose both of these items because I thought they fit my style and would look and feel great on. I am pleased to say I wasn’t wrong about that!
The top has three-quarter length sleeves with leather around the collar and sleeves and a small zipper in the back. The fabric is nice and thick, perfect for a cool fall day. The top is long enough to wear comfortably over a pair of leggings, which is how I wore it, but I thought it would look good with a pair of dress pants as well. I received so many compliments the day that I wore the top to work, with several people asking me where I got it. The best part though was that I didn’t feel uncomfortable or constricted in this top. In fact, I even kept it on for awhile after going home, instead of rushing to change right away.
The pants were made of a stretchy cotton material in a cute black and white pattern that paired well with a black dress shirt. They were also very comfortable, pulled on easily, and fit nice over my hips and tummy (the two areas where I have the hardest time finding clothes that fit). I wore the pants on a day that I had to travel, and they still looked as good as new after spending four hours sitting in a car – no wrinkles in sight! I also love the length of the pants and how they hit right at the ankle, perfect for a pair of flats or heels.
