MAM Baby Perfect Pacifier
All of my kids were so different as babies when it came to liking pacifiers and switching to sippy cups from bottles. My first three didn’t take a pacifier for longer than a few weeks, two of those ended up thumb suckers and one of those two is still sucking his thumb at 4 years old. Â Justin seems to be my most difficult child, yet he took a MAM pacifier right off the bat so that was good but when I had to switch from breastfeeding to bottle feeding he didn’t want to take any bottle. That is until I found a MAM bottle, then when changing to a sippy cup the only one he’d take was a MAM trainer! You might say he’s one of MAM’s biggest fans and he was super excited when MAM sent him new pacifiers and a new Learn to Drink Cup for us to review.
In about 75% of pictures of Justin you will see a MAM pacifier in his mouth…if it’s not in his mouth it’s pretty close by either in his hand or right beside him. I’m not complaining, MAM makes a lot of adorable pacifiers and I think we have just about every boy design they have. I can’t help but buy a new cute design when I see ones he doesn’t have yet. They come in three sizes, newborn, 0-6 months and 6+ months. They also have different types like the MAM Air which has very little to the shield but is super cute, below is a collage of Justin using a MAM Air pacifier and one is the day he got a new pack of pacifiers 🙂
The other type of MAM pacifier has different names based on what design is on it, there is the MAM Monsters, MAM Clear, MAM Trends, and MAM Night. My favorite is hard to choose, but at night I’m in love with MAM Night because they glow in the dark. It was a HUGE lifesaver when Justin was smaller and couldn’t find his pacifier in the dark and neither could I so I ended up turning on a light and waking us up more…now not only can I find it if it drops on the floor but he can find it if it’s still in his crib.
MAM pacifiers have been with us everywhere, they helped so much when Justin was in and out of the hospitals for his breathing and then when and after he had his surgery…during those hospital stays the pacifier rarely left his mouth and no one dared try to take it away. One of my other favorites is the skull and cross bones pacifier and the one that says “Being Good Is Boring”. These are just to name a few because we have so many it’s hard to choose.
Below are pictures of Justin with his MAM pacifiers…once while he was sleeping he had one in his mouth and one in his hand (that’s common) and recently he thinks it’s funny to put two pacifiers in his mouth at once (bottom corner picture).
The only pacifier type we don’t have is the MAM Soft and that has soft sides. I have never seen them sold around here so I never picked them up. I’m sure while Justin was teething those would have been nice to have since they have soft sides to chew on. You can also get clips that attach to the pacifier and clips to clothing to keep them from falling on the floor.

We started with the MAM Trainer cup and then was able to move to MAM Learn to Drink cups. Below are pictures of Justin using his MAM sippy cups, the green one is the trainer cup and the one with a blue lid is the Learn to Drink cup.
MAM has developed a line of training cups to help baby make the transition from bottle to cup easy! After your child has mastered the MAM Hold Me Bottle, they can begin to transition to the next step in the MAM Drinking line which is the MAM Trainer cup. The MAM Trainer cups feature small handles which help baby become accustomed to individual drinking and also feature a spill-proof valve to prevent leaks.
The last step in the MAM Drinking line is the MAM Learn-To-Drink Cup. This cup helps prepare baby for a standard drinking cup by featuring a 6oz cup with a soft spout and a 9oz cup with hard spout. The slim shape allows baby to comfortably hold the Learn-To-Drink cup and is leak-free thanks to the patented spill-proof valve.
