A few years ago, when my oldest daughter was about a year old, we were watching television together. I was flipping through channels and stopped on Disney Jr. to see what was on. To my daughter’s delight, it was Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. That was the first time we had ever watched that show, and she was instantly hooked. Even though she was too young to understand the storyline, she loved the music, the bright colors, and the fun characters. To this day, when she asks me if she can watch something on television, her first choice is always Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It has also become a favorite of my youngest daughter as well, and I like how the show is entertaining, interactive, and educational (they have learned so much about colors, numbers, solving problems, and more)! Not only do we watch it whenever it is on the television, but we also have a number of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVDs, so we are pretty much covered for anytime.

The newest Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVD that we have is “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey’s Monster Musical.” This DVD was just released on September 8, right in time for the Halloween season. We received a special viewing kit with the DVD, a set of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse board books, a 16-piece puzzle, and magnets! We wasted no time in opening up the kit and putting the DVD in the player to enjoy!

In “Mickey’s Monster Musical,” it is a beautiful day outside, so Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto are preparing to go on a picnic. However, once they set out for their picnic, the weather outside starts getting cloudy, windy, cold, and rainy. Things become worse for the trio when the Toon Car breaks down outside a spooky castle. But they don’t have to worry – the castle is the home of Count Mickula, and he offers to fix their car! Once inside the castle, the trio helps Count Mickula figure out where some scary clanging and banging noises are coming from, with help from Boodles and four Monster Mouseketools. They also meet some fun characters along the way – Dr. Von Drakenstein, Monster Goofy, Mademoiselle Clarabelle, Ghost Daisy, and Ghost Donald – and sing some catchy songs.

My girls love “Mickey’s Monster Musical” so much, it has been on almost non-stop since we received it (in fact, they are watching it right now as I write this). They sing and dance along to the songs (I have had the songs stuck in my head at times), and my oldest daughter has even memorized some of the lines. The story is fun and has a bit of a mystery that children can help solve. However, it is not scary and is appropriate for the little ones.

The DVD includes two other Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episodes – “Mickey’s Pirate Adventure” and “Mickey’s Farm Fun Fair” – plus “Minnie’s Bow-Toon: Tricky Treats.” All together, there are almost two hours of fun Mickey Mouse Clubhouse adventures included in this DVD. It also comes with a cute mini trick-or-treat bag!

You can buy “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey’s Monster Musical” online or in stores wherever DVDs are sold It is the perfect treat for your Mickey Mouse Clubhouse fan this Halloween season!

In most of Mickey’s films, it is often with a lot of his fellow friends (Donald, Daisy, Minnie, and Pluto. However, once they have it on; the part I liked best was they offer some videos that make children sing and dance along to certain songs Once I won (if ever selected) I’d figure out where some can be dropped off at that of library or children’s after school care.
