Paula’s Choice Skincare for Great Skin Review

Disclosure review
Recently, I had the chance to try out a skincare line and the experience was unlike any I’ve ever had. That brand is Paula’s Choice and they know how to do it right! Dedicated to the need for skincare, they can treat it all and it’s amazing how they do it!

I started my journey with Paula’s Choice with a conversation from a consultant who took the time to get to know me and my skin. We talked about my skincare routine and my general day to day routines. With summer right around the corner I expressed my concern with how much time I spend out in the sun, which leads to sunspots and those pesky wrinkles. My skincare consultant suggested a couple of products and set me up with a skincare line.

Paula's Choice Resist

As I age, I find myself with dry skin and wrinkles, so I was set up with the Resist Anti-Aging Line {retail between $18.00 and $34.00}. I received:

  • Resist Optimal Results Hydrating Cleanser
  • Resist Replenishing Toner
  • Resist Daily Smoothing Treatment 5% AHA
  • Resist Daily Moisturizer SPF 25
  • Resist Super Antioxidant Serum

It has definitely been a challenge for myself to keep with the routine. It’s just too easy to wash my face with a washcloth and warm water. I know, I know …that isn’t good, is it?

After using the Resist Anti-Aging line for a solid couple of weeks, I love it! My skin feels so good!  I’ve realized that feeling good about my skin makes me feel more confident about myself. That’s why I am comfortable posting these before, during and after photos.

In the morning, I follow a set of steps:
Step 1: Wash face using Resist Optimal Results Hydrating Cleanser.
Step 2: Use Resist Replenishing Toner.
Step 3: Daily Exfoliant with the Resist Daily Smoothing Treatment 5% AHA.
Step 4: Treatment with the Resistant Super Antioxidant Serum.

Finally, Step 5: Mornings only, Resist Daily Moisturizer SPF 25. So far I’ve noticed that I don’t experience a tightening of my skin after washing my face and my skin looks much brighter. I’ve noticed those fine lines disappearing and I’m super pleased with the results. I’m not one to use sunscreen (I know, I know!) so I feel really good about using a moisturizer with SPF 25.

At night, I use the Moisture Boost Hydrating Treatment Cream, which is a thick cream and soaks right into my skin. A couple of times a week I add in the Resist C15 Super Booster ($48.00). As impressed as I am with the Resist Anti-Aging line, I’m pretty sure the Resist C15 Super Booster is a miracle worker. Use it alone or mix it in with moisturizer. Wow.

For my most prominent sunspots, I’m using the Resist 25% Vitamin C Spot Treatment ($55.00). It’s great for those sun spots and wrinkles. It’s powerful, so I use it only once a week.

Paula's Choice Makeup
Paula’s Choice also has makeup! They were sweet enough to send a Blush It On Contour Palette that includes 6 contouring shades – Pearl, Bronze, Delicate Coral, Dusty Rose, Peony and Soft Mauve, it’s limited edition and retails for $36.00 They also sent the Nude Mattes Eyeshadow Palette that has 12 lovely shades and an eye brush. The Nude Mattes Eyeshadow Palette is a limited edition and retails for $40.00

I like Paula’s Choice because their products are made in the USA. They are a part of the Leaping Bunny Program, which warms my animal loving heart because they have eliminated animal testing from their company and their ingredient suppliers. And, they love animals so much that their employees bring their dogs to work. That is so amazing!

Additionally, Paula’s Choice is non-irritating. There are no added fragrance, dyes or ingredients that can harm the health and function of your skin. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied, Paula’s choice offers a 100% money back guarantee within 60 days. That’s pretty generous.

  1. That’s a tough call. I need something that’s anti-aging but something that provides moisture so I don’t have dry skin. But I also have breakouts from time to time, so it would be nice to finally have a skin care product that works for that.

  2. My skin needs a really good hydration cream the most. I suffer from eczema and they dryness and peeling of the skin is getting frustrating.

  3. My skin can be a bit sensitive but the bigger issue for me is moisturizing. I work on my feet a lot and in a controlled environment. For some reason it dries out my skin so anything to help me maintain moister is a biggie for me.

  4. My skin need tightening help the most followed by acne I think. Wouldn’t hurt to use anti aging products either.

  8. My skin needs a little moisture, a little pore minimizing and a ton of wrinkle fighting goodness!

  9. Hello! As I’m aging, my skin mostly needs fine line and under eye treatment. Thank-you. 🙂

  10. I have combination skin so it dries out but anything too oily makes my face feel greasy so it’s a delicate balance.

  11. Mine dont really need anything,I just take one teaspoon of coconut oil liquify it in 4 ounces of warm water and apply.

  12. I am starting to see fine lines and wrinkles from sun damage. What I need most is a great moisturizer that can even out my skin tone.
