How fast is Woolite INSTAclean?

If you are a mom (or a human, really), I’m sure you are familiar with spills and stains on carpets. Between little ones spilling juice, food, etc., to adults (who perhaps had a little too much red wine!), there always seems to be oodles of stains on the carpet, usually located in the same general area. Don’t even get me started on high traffic areas – they ALWAYS seem to be dirty! Honestly, I get really tired of cleaning those areas, and I really dislike how time consuming it is. I tend to move around quickly, especially when doing chores/cleaning. I am excited to introduce one of my favorite new products – Woolite INSTAclean!

I swear, they must have made this product just for me. As I mentioned above, when I clean, I want to do it quickly and get it out of the way. There are SO many other things I would rather be doing. Why waste precious time on my knees cleaning the rug? With Woolite INSTAclean, I am still on my knees when removing stains, but my time on the floor is very brief. You see, Woolite INSTAclean works fast. I mean really fast.

I was sent a bottle, as well as carpet samples with stains already on them.  So here was the challenge: I was asked to use Woolite INSTAclean on each of them and time how long it took for the stain to be removed.

 

I started with the fruit juice stain. It was a reddish-purple so I really didn’t know if it would come out. I got my towel out for dabbing, and sprayed the Woolite on the carpet square.  I waited maybe 20 seconds (if that), then I placed the towel on the stain and pressed down.  I was shocked to see what was on the towel when I lifted it up:

All of the juice came up, except in a couple of small areas that I missed with my towel. I pressed down a second time with a clean piece of towel, and the rest came up immediately. The stain was GONE – just like that!

So how does it work?

Oxy stain destroyer formula starts working on contact to mobilize, lift, and penetrate the stain at the source to remove stains in 30 seconds.

I did the test with the remaining carpet samples and everything came up just as quickly…except the foundation. Foundation, in general, is really tricky to get off of carpet. I had to apply Woolite INSTAclean and dab/press twice for this stain to come up. It did come up though, and for that, I was relieved.

Since I was in a cleaning mood (okay, maybe not a mood, let’s say a “streak”), I decided to do a little test on my own carpet. We have a game room, which is actually more like a family room. It has a refrigerator, sink, etc. Between the entrance and the refrigerator there were lots of stains. Oh, and the stairs that lead to the game room had some too. I decided to do a little video to show you how it worked out.

I ended up spot cleaning pretty much the whole room – and it was so much faster than with other products I’ve used before, and the room looks fantastic! There was one big, black spot on the carpet that we noticed a couple of weeks ago. It almost looked like black ink. We didn’t think we would be able to get rid of that spot, but the Woolite INSTAclean brought it to the surface and it was gone in no time. My husband was ecstatic when he came home and I showed him. I took video of me removing that spot, but I don’t want to bore you with too many videos. I did have fun making them though, as I was really excited when I saw spots come up.

Woolite INSTAclean instantly and permanently removes really tough stains. Examples are things like tomato sauce, salad dressings, red wines, fruit juice, food grease, vegetable oil, coffee, tea, tracked-in dirt and mud, grass, blood, pet stains, make-up, and even dirty motor oil! That pretty much covers the most difficult stains I know of!

The results

Um wow – that is all I can really say. I am super impressed with how well (and quick!) Woolite INSTAclean picks up stubborn stains. We have one whole room (the game room we call it) where my hubby and his friends hang out for “Man Movie Night”. Well, nothing personal, but the boys can be a little messy sometimes and there are often stains on the carpet. In their defense though, it is a very high traffic area and there always seem to be lots of spots. It doesn’t take me long to spot clean the carpet anymore – I am done in a breeze, so I have more time to do the things I want to do. I also love the clean, fresh scent that Woolite INSTAclean leaves behind. One other reason I will continue to use this product is that is is safe for kids and animals.
