My husband likes to trim his hair himself. Not all trimmers are created equal however so I put him to the test when he decided to shave some extra hair off recently.  He charged the clipper, which took about an hour, and was off to the backyard.

It didn’t take very long and he was very satisfied with the results.  The clipper worked well and he now can save that money he spent on haircuts for my Christmas gift (hee hee).  Seriously though if you cut your husband’s hair or son’s hair this is the clipper for you!  With a really good range of length settings you can cut most short hair styles painlessly in just a few minutes.  The battery time is more than enough, in my opinion, for most cuts however if your clipper does run down you can always plug it in the wall to finish up.  It cleaned up quickly and easily and is back in it’s box for it’s next go around.  Philips Norelco makes the Do-It-Yourself Hair Clipper risk free with their 45-Day Money-Back Guarantee.  Put it to the test in your own home and see for yourself how easy they have made this clipper to use!

My box came with a fancy little peelie coupon for $5.00 off!  Look for those boxes!  Philips Norelco has coupons for many of their other fine products that are probably sprinkled throughout your Christmas shopping lists as well. That link will bring you to a hefty save $20 on Philips Norelco SensoTouch 3D coupon plus many more!  Visit Philips Norelco to see all the men’s personal care products offered, grab your coupons, and go shopping!

Continuing through December 17, Philips Norelco will give their Twitter followers the chance to upgrade their electric shaving experience — and holiday experience – by giving away a PowerTouch with Aquatec every day. We will also give away a weekly $1,000 and SensoTouch 3D grand prize. You can find all of the details, rules and prizes on our Twitter page @ShaveExperts. Good Luck!

  1. Ahhhh, if only I had a husband/son/brother/nephew/uncle, but I don’t!

  2. This looks like a cool product. I think my father, brother, or sister (for her 12 yr old son) could really use something like this.

  3. This is very cool – but no way would my boyfriend let me cut his hair or heavens forbid let me cut it.

  4. sara m ford says:

this would make a great Christmas gift for my husband

  5. The rotating head would make cutting my son’s hair so much easier!

  6. This looks great! My boyfriend recently bought some hair clippers and they were awful! The pieces did not fit on correctly and the trimmers werent that great. This one looks nice and you know Norelco always makes good quality products. Thanks for the review!

  7. we have needed a new one for about 2 years. I cut my husbands and son’s hair, or rather, I PULL it out. Ours is old and actually tugs the hair. Wow, do it yourSELF! I try to blend the hair lengths but this would be OK for guys who ALWAYS wear hats anyway I guess, like my husband does. Saves me about 3 hours a year alone on him so I can live with that. I ain’t no spring chicken anymore so every hour might count;)

  8. I can see me getting very creative with these clippe! LOL!

The product is simply amazing in Review. I so hope that my hubby buys it someday it would be much convinent and easier for him rather than going to the barber every now and then.

  10. It would make a great gift for my son.

  11. My husband can use one of these because uses his other shaver to do it but it’s not for haircutting and does it really say fully washable, fantastic. At an average price of $30 bucks, how can you go wrong. I think I just found another christmas present

  14. Sylvia Ortiz says:

This would be perfect for my husband, as both my husband and I currently unemployed, saving money in any and all aspects is a must. Now if only they can make something “simple, yet precise” for women to cut their own hair too. :)

  15. I have been cutting all my boys hair for years because it saves so much money, but I don’t have a rotating head like that. I want new clippers now!

  16. I have a 17 yr old son who would love this-the design is great, and it would save me alot of trips to the hairdresser, he doesn’t like using traditional clippers. I trust the Philips Norelco name. Excellent find/review-thank you!

  17. My fiance would love this! I’ll be on the lookout for the “peelie” coupon. lol :)

  18. kathy pease says:

id love one of these for my teen son and hubby so they could cut their own hair and stop bugging me ..lol

  19. I have hair about the length of yours, and I’d like to keep it that way. This would be great for my boyfriend, though.
